  • Tuskegee University, one of the largest historically black universities in the United States, is a private university located in Tuskegee, Alabama. It was founded by Lewis Adams, a former slave, and George W. Campbell, a former slave owner. Adams asked that an educational institution for blacks be established. Good lake view, easy parking. I had thought there was easy access to pool, but this building is does not have access to the three closest pools in neighborhood. Pool use required driving to HOA activity center and pool. This property is good if you rent a boat and use dock directly in front or want to swim in lake. Porch is too small and patio furniture is not comfortable. “Stale/musty” smell was alleviated by removing very dirty air return filter during our stay, but a clean one is needed. Communication with owner/manager was good with immediate response.

Comfy bed, quiet location. Some deferred maintenance and needs a good thorough cleaning. Drains are VERY slow. Enjoyed our couple days and would stay again.

The Most Relaxing Christmas Ever

Lake Martin Getaway

Our time was relaxing and restful. We enjoyed watching the activity on the lake and seeing incredible sunsets. The stairs down to our ground floor condo were somewhat of an issue but the condo itself was comfortable.

Perfect Getaway

We had a great time staying at this property for Memorial Day Weekend! The location was perfect! We spent most of the time out on the lake, just needed a clean and comfortable place to sleep and this was just right for our little family. My 4 year old keeps asking when we’re going back. Hope to stay again soon!

Great Location, Beautiful Sunsets

The condo is small but efficient. Great for just the 2 of us. We loved location - easy boat slip access, gorgeous view, beach and pool for swimming, close to restaurants and new grocery just outside Still Waters entrance. Grounds are well kept and neighbors are very nice, complex and neighborhood very quiet. We would plan to return.

Smoke alarm beeping. Tub takes forever to drain. You stand in water up to ankle deep while showering. Trash seemed to come out of jet ports in tub. Other than those two issues it was great. Great location, great view.

Nice Stay

This was a quaint little condo that was perfect for the two of us. There is designated boat slip that we did enjoy. We were not sure which pool to use. Didn't really matter since we had our boat. The sliding door in the den area is broken and could barely open. We had to use the door outside from the bedroom. Overall, it was very nice.

Ideal Location!

This condo was perfect! Very near Harbor Point Marina, a quick boat ride (or car ride) to Chuck's Restaurant/Marina, BlueCreek Marina is only about a 10-minute boat ride. The kitchen was well stocked, and the king bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is accessible from the Master Bedroom and the hallway, which is perfect if you have folks sleeping in the den. The boat slip is just a few steps away. The Living Waters Church is in the same area. You can take your boat there, or drive. 5 minutes away. We loved the outdoor space. Very private and quiet. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you, Nick for being a great host!

Great for relaxing

The property is exactly what i wanted, plenty of peace, quiet, and relaxation. Only one issue on first full day, but a phone call to the owner and it was fixed that afternoon. Happy for the washer and dryer, pool access, and the relaxing view. Negatives noted in other comments, the bed is very high (but used the step-stool from the kitchen). No noisy neighbors, just beautiful views and sunsets. The 19 entry steps were tough for my health, so thats the only thing to keep in mind. Plenty of restaurants in the area just minutes away with excellent food, and we took a private pontoon tour of the lake where we saw eagles and plenty of sights. Our guide was knowledgeable on all the history and more suggestions for places to eat.
