Absolutely Recommend!

Great stay. Super comfortable bed, clean, comfortable, & away from the madness of the centre. Lovely pool. Adequate breakfast. Places to eat close by without going into town, though Hoi An itself only a 20 minute walk to centre. Bit of a walk to the beach, however easy when using the free bicycles. Don't hesitate booking any trips through Mr Ly, you won't get a cheaper price, and tickets delivered to accommodation. Family run, lovely people. Mr Ly is super helpful with any questions. Leaves you to relax unless you require help. Area nice. Would like to think we arrived as clients, and left as friends. Great place, thoroughly recommend.

Lee was amazing .. he arranged a fantastic basket boat tour. He picked us up at the bus station and made our stay great. Rooms were big with a nice pool area. Good location and bicycles are available for free

Amazing value for money!! The room is massive and was cleaned every day. In a good location and nice and quiet. We extended about 4 times as it was so good! Unfortunately I only used the pool once as it was so cold and the shower was often tepid/luke warm regardless of the time of day or night but they were the only down points.

Family run homestay. Very nice family, place was clean, and comfortable. Free breakfast in the morning was ok. The pool was nice to relax. The family gave bikes which were in ok condition to bike till the old town. It was a ten min bike ride. it was fun biking everyday esp when it rained.

Gorgeous pool and outstanding staff.

We just had a 10 day stay at the hotel. Staff were all extremely helpful and couldn't have done more for us. Value for money this hotel is outstanding. Price incl a lovely breakfast. The pool is gorgeous and beautifully maintained and super clean. It was a lifesaver retreat in the heat of the day. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Lee's the man

The owner of the guesthouse, Lee, was extremely service-oriented. He was quick to guide me on any issues regarding getting around. When I went for the in-house massage he recommended and there was a discrepancy in the price he told me and the price I was charged, he immediately refunded me the balance upon checking out. There were free bicycles available for us to use to get around Hoi An. Room wise, I booked a room for two. It was good but it was simply too big for a solo traveller. Two people will be nice. The furnitures were a little old and hot water only comes out of the shower intermittently. There is a little swimming pool and benches for guests to relax and unwind themselves. The breakfast was also pretty decent and their hot milk coffee was good. All in all, the stay was really memorable. One thing I really liked about the owner, Lee, was that he was really service-oriented and cares for your well-being. He was not out to rip you off unlike many of the locals you encounter at the markets or tourist sites. That alone made my stay memorable!

Nice and helpful family, great place

We had a great time in Hoi An and at at Hoi An Life Homestay, great location not in the centre but close enough, everyone was lovely and helpful, gave us some great advice ( cafe 43, really, amazing food, went there like four times in the end!) we enjoyed the big room with AC and fan (even if it could be quite noisy), free bicycles to get into town or to the beach, rented one of their motorbikes for just 100.000 vnd a day, and also enjoyed a few dips in the pool. Breakfast also was great. We even ended up staying one more night. Definitely recommend this place.

Ruhig gelegenes, günstiges Hotel

Etwa 1km vom Zentrum an einer Nebenstraße. Lärm macht der Gockel nebenan und ggf. Der Starkregen, nicht der Verkehr. Die Betten sind sogar mit etwas zu hart und ich mag harte Matratzen. Die Räume und Bäder sind groß, könnten aber etwas mehr Deko und Einrichtung vertragen. Warmwasser kommt nur sehr schwach. Dafür sehr günstig. Raum ohne Frühstück buchen, ist den Preis nicht wert da man nur 1 Getränk und 1 Gericht bekommt. Personal war nett und hilfreich und nicht zu aufdringlich. Schirm und Radl gibts umsonst, allerdings würde ich nicht ohne Helm fahren, wer den Verkehr und die zahlreichen verletzten Touristen sieht weiß wieso ;) Und wers mag oder nur Urlaub macht um seine Leber mal Überstunden machen zu lassen, 3 mal die Woche gibts 2 VietBier frei.

Stay here, it's fantastic!

We booked for 5 nights but extended our stay by 4 nights as we loved it here. The rooms are very big, clean and modern with 2 double beds and balcony if you stay in the second floor. The family are so nice and will help you with any requests you have. Food is very cheap if you like a snack and tasty! 2 free beers every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday so you can meet the family and other guests. Free bikes to use so you can cycle to An Bang Beach or visit the local town centre where you will find lantern village with lots of bars and resturants.

Accueil chaleureux et conseils judicieux.

Hôtel fort agréable pour les gens qui aiment faire un peu de vélo comme nous étions. Nous sommes à quelques minutes à vélo de la vielle ville et des plages. Les vélos sont gratuits et ça change de la marche !

Quiet neighborhood, but be wary of bait and switch

The stay was pleasant although location is farther from town. Free bicycles take about 13min ride to the gates of the Old City. Neighborhood was quiet which made it nice for relaxing away from the crowds. Local food vendors line nearby streets (3 min by bike), althoguh they close earlier at night, around 9pm. The one major complaint I have was that the hotel switched me to a smaller/cheaper room than the one I had booked. At the end of the stay, I negotiated a discount but only after persistently arguing my case. Disappoited that they wouldn't admit to the bait and switch even when there was a sign posted right in the lobby on room rates and accommodations. Guests be wary!
