Building of National Museum is dominating the main city centre Wenceslaw's square. Currently in reconstruction and to be opened in 2018 for 200. anniversary of National Museum establishment. The Neorennaisance building was built in 1885-91 by architect Josef Schulz. Interesting are 72 names of Czech history important men (eg. kings Rudolf II., Charles IV., Jan Hus, Tycho Brahe, Johannes Kepler etc.) written in Gold under the outer windows.

"Highly recommend this hotel. Very clean, spacious room (deluxe double), lots of choice for breakfast and loved their lobby bar for a chilled out drink after walking all day. Close enough to all the sights (15 min walk to the old town) with a great Dutch bar opposite for lovely food and cheap drinks. Traveller tip - make sure you use the uber taxis outside the airport (machine just before the exit if you haven’t got the app), don’t get in the unauthorised taxis - double the price."
