"This little motel was adorable. The staff was nice and come around with a basket of breakfast grab and go items the evening prior. Our room had a bench outside. The bed was comfortable, but pillows were a bit hard. The room was very clean. A coffee pot and coffee in the room. All the Custer restaurants and shops were within a short walk. Miner's Cup next door had great coffee shop drinks and breakfast sandwiches. "

"We loved staying here for a few days with our kids and dogs. We stayed in a loft room, and my kids absolutely loved having their own space upstairs. The property is centrally located so its easy to walk to the boardwalk for shopping and dining. There's even a coffe/wine bar directly across the street with a playground and fully fenced dog park making this the perfect location for families. Hot breakfast was served every morning with varying options each day. The staff was also super friendly. If we ever make it back to the Black Hills, we will definitely be staying at the Roosevelt Inn!"

"Sylvan Lake Lodge sits above the lake in a quiet area in Custer State Park. Our room had a good queen bed and small bathroom. There was a table and 2 chairs. The lodge had a great sitting area with alot of chairs/sofas. The dining room had excellent dinners (walleye/vegies for my husband and a steak for me). Breakfasts were also good w/ eggs, bacon/sausage and pancakes."

"This place is so cute! We ended up with a family room because there were singles available. It had a room with a queen bed and then a seperate room with two full size beds. The bathroom was between them. Main room had a little fridge and microwave. The bathroom was retro but very clean and kept. Loved it. It was a bit of a tight squeeze between the sink and the shower to get in but doable. "
