「The Pondside Lodge was a splendid place to stay for our trip to South Dakota! The lodge is beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The living room picture window looks out over the pond and the Needles are clearly visible in the distance. It is a very relaxing location - quiet and lovely. We saw turkeys and deer every day going to and from the lodge. The lodge is a short drive to the Custer Wildlife Loop (spectacular!), the Needles Highway (amazing!), and Sylvan Lake (stunning!). 「The barn proved to be exactly as promised. Simplistic with all the modern necessities. It was quiet, with beautiful views of country living. We watched deer and turkeys in the yard grazing. The bed was comfortable with soft sheets and comfy pillows. We would gladly book another stay here.」

A dehumidifier in the kitchen area blocked the oven door and a few electrical outlets raised concerns about safety based on the location of outlets.
