The hotel is close to everything in Cusco, and the area is safe. The room (#5) was very cozy, clean and pleasant to be in. Also loved the early check-in (12PM) and the breakfast. Camila was very helpful, reachable all the time and helped me a lot with a small medical problem I had while there. I simply love boutique hotels like this one and I fully enjoyed my stay there 😃

My stay at Wakapunku Boutique Hotel was perfect. The host Camila went above and beyond with breakfast and with offers of snack boxes for early morning excursions. She recommended fantastic dining options and set up city tours that were fantastic. Every need was met and could not have asked for much more. Perfect location around the corner from plaza de aramas in the center of the city. Clean, quiet, cozy, great all around!

This property is in a good location, however it is very noisy, frequently does not have hot water for showers and the plumbing is very finicky. There is no 24hr service - you receive your own keys to leave and enter the property and I felt the hostess was not dedicated to solving issues in a timely matter. I regretted staying at this location during my time in Cusco.

Excelente ubicación

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, aunque difícil de encontrar por su pequeña placa, aún así es un lugar que te hace sentir en casa, Camila es una excelente anfritiona, por desgracia nos tocó que se rompiera una tubería cerca del hotel y nos dejara sin agua, pero Camila trató de resolver la situación lo mejor posible

UM SHOW DE HORRORES E DESRESPEITO

Que experiência horrorosa e constrangedora tive nesse hotel. Eles se denominam hotel mas se parece mais um hostel! Fiquei extremamente constrangida porque os donos batem o tempo todo na porta do seu quarto, invadindo sua privacidade de uma forma absurda. Passei por situações de ter que acordar pra atender as batidas na porta, de estar no banheiro e ter que ir correndo atender as batidas da porta, de ser interrompida em reuniões. Nunca tinha visto uma coisa assim. Outro ponto absurdo foi que eles praticamente me expulsaram do quarto duas horas antes do meu checkout. Ja começaram a me mandar mensagem perguntando que horas eu ia sair e batiam insistentemente na porta, a mulher chegou a entrar dentro do quarto e começar a tirar os lençóis antes de eu terminar de arrumar minhas coisas e ANTES DE DAR O MEU HORÁRIO CONTRATADO DE CHECKOUT. Café da manhã muito ruim com pães velhos, poucas opções e ainda querem cobrar a parte por isso. Cama dura. Outra coisa que eles somem, não atendem a porta, quase perdi meu avião porque minhas malas ficaram presas em um quarto e ninguém aparecia pra abrir. Experiencia horrivel, queria poder pedir meu dinheiro de volta porque me senti desrespeitada, violada, invadida... e constrangida. NÃO RECOMENDO JAMAIS A NINGUÉM!

Não gostamos da experiência de hospedar neste hotel. O teto do quarto é muito baixo, dando a sensação de estarmos apertados. O café da manhã muito fraco e no último dia não serviram café da manhã. Por outro lado, queriam cobrar 5% a mais do valor pactado se pagássemos com cartão de crédito. Não voltaria e não indico.

Perfeito demais! Uma ótima localização para fazer várias coisas a pé. Não fica em morros. Água quente, quarto sempre limpo, ótimo café da manhã. Luiz nos recepcionou muito bem! Sempre se comunicando por WhatsApp. Muito solícito a nos ajudar. No último dia me deu até um chá de limão com mel porque eu estava com muita tosse. Quando saíamos cedo, ele deixava um box de café da manhã para levarmos na viagem. E quando tomávamos o café no hotel ele fazia todos os dias algo diferente para comermos. Luiz é um querido e o hotel é excelente!

Amazing & Cozy stay in Cusco

We had an amazing experience. WakaPunka is a cute Boutique with everything you need: breakfast, 24hr coffee/tea/small snacks, great location, friendly service. The location is just a few minutes walk from the main square and plenty of great restaurant options in Cusco. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home and even switched us to a 2bed place for one night as it seems like there was a mistake in our booking. We highly recommend to stay here.
