"We enjoyed the property and loved its location. There were some negatives: a lot of the crockery/cutlery needed re-washing when we arrived, the master bed wasn’t very comfortable and there is no soundproofing in the house whatsoever! But it was in a great location and was perfectly adequate and enjoyable for a week’s stay."

"Nice house in quiet mountain village. Close to Sotres and Cares which can be reached by car, local bus, or walking. Host was helpful in providing local information. There is no Wi-Fi in the house, but we were able to join our hosts network, sitting on the bench outside their house a short walk away."

"Goyo is a fabulous host and the house is absolutely beautiful. It is really well equipped and feels like a home instead of a holiday rental. The terrace is fabulous and the BBQ and it’s so quiet and peaceful. The surrounding area is stunning too. Shopping can be done in Cervera or Guardo. The former smaller and prettier. Could not recommend this place any higher/ 10/10!"

"The house is absolutely beautiful with great facilities including a swimming pool and great views from the balcony of the Picos de Europa. It is located down a quiet side road meaning you are free from the noise of traffic leaving you in an idyllic location to relax. The nearby town, Potes, is well provided with supermarkets, restaurants and cafes. I would highly recommend staying here as it is very clean, very comfortable, very well equipped and the host is very kind."

"Excellent flat with kitchen, lounge and bathroom. Very quiet area with Resturant on site and a choice of others, plus a bar in village. Non-existent vegetarian options in Resturant on site. Bar opposite does nice pizzas. Recommended. "

"A lovely apartment in a valley local to Potes. All the facilities were great and we liked the exceptionally large bedrooms. Everything worked as it should. We had a great week exploring the local area and especially the mountains further down the valley."

"A beautiful old farmhouse with modern furnishings and comfortable beds - everything as described. The village is very small, but has bars, restaurants and a small supermarket within 15 minutes walking distance. The few inhabitants in the village are friendly and open to tourists. The landlord is easily accessible if needed. Everything was as described, the landlord very helpful, a very nice and relaxed stay."

"We had a great stay in this lovely house in Cobena. The views were breathtaking. We enjoyed a number of interesting walks in the area, including the walk to Potes via Castro Cillorgio. Another good walk was a circular route from Brez. We also did part of the Compestello walk from Tama to the monastery of San Toribio. We were lucky enough to visit Potes for the livestock market on 2 Nov, which was quite an experience. The house was very clean with very thoughtful touches - the cake and wine were...

Lorena, la dueña, se la ve que es muy buena gente asi como su hermana Sara y su madre Mari Paz. Tuvimos un trato muy bueno por parte de ellas. El entorno y los paisajes son preciosos. "Wow! The view from here is breathtaking! I originally planned to stay two nights, but ended up staying 5. I would suggest planning to spend some time here! You can see the Picos de Europa from your room and there are many places to sit / eat outside. Fuente De is close by and the hosts provided many resources for nearby hikes. There is a cool hike that goes by 3 waterfalls, into a small village, up to a cross, and up to a peak before circling back. There are other hiking trails that leave right from the apartments! The apartments themselves have everything you could possibly need and the hosts were very responsive. They even sent a video to help me get to the location without a problem, which I have to say is a first! Can’t tell you how many times other hosts didn’t take that step and had me circling around lost! All those extra touches, the people, and the place make it an unforgettable stay. Do yourself a favor and plan to spend some time here! "

"This is an excellent property in the Picos de Europa park. The best reason to book this hotel are the hot springs. You get one 40 minute session per night which is very relaxing after a day of hiking. These are natural hot springs flowing from the outside, with many different water massage areas, as well as a sauna, steam room, onsen, whirlpool and cold rinsing pool. They also have along outdoor pool if you want to swim. The second reason is the location. You are between Fuente De and Poncebos. There is no better location to reach each of these in 1 hour, plus Potes, Sotres and Bulnes. Covadonga lakes are another 30 min, but beware private cars cannot go to Covadonga. You need to leave your car at a parking lot and they have taxis to take you the rest of the way. Besides location and hot springs, the hotel is very good, comfortable bed, excellent staff and great breakfast. They don’t have a coffee/tea kettle in the room. You need to buy that at the bar, but the waiter brought it all the way to my room. I would only say that they need to completely renovate the bathrooms, they are very old"

"Wonderful traditional hotel in a stunning part of the Picos de Europa. Getting there is an event in itself; after you've passed through magnificent scenery, you're faced with a winding road to the top of the mountain, passing through two tunnels. Once there, you're on the edge of a charming village, and although the hosts speak little English, we both got by with the help of Google Translate! The hosts do everything they can to make you feel welcome and at the heart of a traditional Spanish home. Excellent walking from the hotel, stunning views and amazing home-cooked local food. Delicious breakfasts and evening meals – make sure you experience the restaurant. Thanks for a great couple of nights."
