「Third stage of our stay in Portugal and an excellent place to finish. Évora is just the right size to explore. The apartment is bright, roomy and airy with a great large terrace/balcony. Hugo, the owner, greeted us on arrival, showed us around and was very helpful. We were comfortable there. Small mini market and lovely friendly restaurant just round the corner. Worth a visit to nearby Arraiolos, home of famous stitched carpets.」

「We stayed one night at this place and it was a pleasant experience. One thing we noticed however were the ants in the patio which eventually made their way into the washroom. Not sure if we had stayed longer if they would have been all over the house but they were certainly all over the washroom in a short period of time. A minor suggestion would be to place a shelf in the shower to have a place to put shampoo/soap, etc.」

「A really comfortable stay. Easy to park in the road outside if you are willing to keep the car within inches of walls. Well appointed, but you need to be aware that it is a back-to-back property so has no window in the bedroom area at the rear and the front window is small. However. we thought it was excellent for our week; quiet, but very much a local village atmosphere. Brilliant local restaurant; good food and wine and good value at 30 Euros for a big meal for 2.
