I loved my stay at Kariwak and will definitely be returning! The staff were all extremely kind and attentive and I felt very well looked after during my entire stay. I feel the value for money is excellent. The grounds are so beautiful and it is truly a joy waking up there every day to the calming sounds of birds chirping.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt like a peaceful nature resort. Breakfast was exceptional—very tasty and clearly made with fresh, local ingredients—and the welcome drink was a lovely touch. While the stay was enjoyable overall, the check-in process felt a bit disorganized. Still, it’s a great place to relax and unwind.

Rooms in need of a makeover. Only amenities in room small bars of soap individually wrapped in plastic. No facial tissues. Kettle but no tea or coffee. Garden lovely but not as well maintained as in the past. Breakfast very good. Staff welcoming and efficient.

The stay at Kariwak was perfect. The staff is amazing! They accommodated our early check in and late check out due to the ferry schedule. It was a perfect location for the beautiful beaches. The morning yoga was amazing. All around, 5 stars.

This is a wonderful property with the most amazing staff. We’ve been coming here for over thirty years and it’s still as clean and beautiful as the first time. This is not a luxury resort but a quaint holistic haven filled with birds and tropical flowers. This will always be my favorite property in Tobago.

The property had beautiful grounds where one could sit in a hammock and relax. The pool was clean and refreshing. Beds were comfortable and housekeeping came by every day. The air conditioner in the room was often very noisy so I had to wear ear plugs to sleep sometimes. The free shuttle to Pigeon Point Beach was wonderful. Store Beach which is walking distance from the hotel was very narrow. There was not much room for people to sit on the beach.

We’ve been staying at the Kariwak since 1993. Not much has changed. It still has a plethora of birds and tropical flowers, the staff is still amazing and the rooms are still clean. If you’re looking for luxury this isn’t for you but it’s beautiful just the same. We still love everything about it 32 years later.
