"Millbrook Lodge is a lovely house - it has everything you want and more from a holiday home. We did have an issue with a beeping smoke alarm which unfortunately did not get resolved while we were there which is why I cannot give it a 5 star review."

"Big house with great sized rooms and plenty space for our 15 adults and 5 children. Hot tub was great. Living space/bar area very roomy and open. The owners were very flexible with the Sunday checkout times which was nice of them. The kitchen is a professional kitchen (for the weekday BnB purpose I guess) so not quite the social space that you're used to in a more traditional house. "An excellent hotel, the room was amazing, and we got upgraded to a larger room when the hotel heard it was our anniversary! Very clean and comfortable, and the hot tub on the balcony was a must have The spa facilities were fantastic, and the cocktail bar was lovely for food and sitting outside with a view The hotel was very close to bowness town centre and the lakshore, with a myriad of restaurants and bars to choose from! Wpuld really recomend porto for a date night, followed by cocktails in the hotel bar, which can be taken up to the room hot tub in a pastic cup"

"Beautiful hotel in a peaceful location. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. We had a spacious room with a large window seat. Loved the bathroom towels which were big and very thick. The bar and dining areas are very inviting. Great breakfast, cooked to order. Wish we were staying longer! "

"Really lovely stay. Loved the high ceiling in the bedroom and the fantastic view of Windermere even from the ground floor. Tea/coffee making facilities. Very helpful friendly staff, great location and so easy to use. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again. Could do with more pegs/shelves in bathroom."
