Very functional living room & kitchen - super important when you are in such a little village in winter, as all restaurants were closed by 8pm. You need to cook! Well equipped. "Wonderful stay at this charming property in Hautefage, our hosts were very welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The beautiful weather helped and the pool was fantastic. Lots to see and do in the surrounding area and we were very sorry to leave at the end of our week. Would happily recommend this property for a great visit!"

"This little house is in an idyllc setting, just 6 miles or so from the the Dordogne river, with rolling hills in every direction. We both loved the views and the peace and quiet.There were issues with the property: (i) the double bed had a single duvet cover - not ideal when my husband is 6ft 2" and 20 stone (ii) the kitchen area is situated in the chimney breast. The lintel over the chimney breast is only about 5ft 3" - fine for me, but hopeless for my husband. He banged his head innumerable times (iii) the sofa was a sofa bed. It did not work as a bed, as it appeared to be broken and it was not very comfortable as a sofa"
