"What a beautiful location. We would love to have stayed another couple of nights just to unplug and enjoy the tranquility. The breakfast was wonderful, I had a blueberry waffle and my husband had a breakfast burrito. Being a 200 year old building, our room had slanted floors which made the head of the bead lower than the feet, even though we noticed it was already shimmed up a bit. Plus you need to be ready and willing to lug your luggage up to the 3rd floor (no issues for us but some might want to request a no stairs option). Otherwise a lovely experience. The fire pit outside with blankets provided was really inviting. Lobster boats really do come in at about 4:30am so you’ll hear them. We loved the authentic experience!"

"View from the property is fantastic, and it was lovely being able to walk right down to the shore early morning to look for shells. Spruce Head Island is just a nice, secluded location but also very close to Rockland. Oh and McCloons is right there. Which doesn't hurt ."

"Kittridge cottage surpassed all my expectations. The pictures did not do it justice. The craftsmanship and interior decorating of the cottage were very pleasing and well done. The unique setting on a quarry enhanced, our stay immensely. This was our first trip to Vinalhaven, and we found it extremely peaceful, relaxing and scenic. After being out and about on the island it was a pleasure to have Kitridge cottage welcome us home. Highly recommend!"

"Donna's home is beautifully decorated and charmingly curated so it really feels like vacation! The kitchen is very well equipped with anything one could need to cook a great meal. The bathrooms are large and spa-like, with plush towels and thoughtful amenities. The living spaces are open with beautiful windows, and super comfy with white on whites, and Maine landscape neutral accents. The bedrooms reflect the same design sense with comfy beds and all three are large airy. There is a lovely deck for morning coffee and tidal views! Thank you for a wonderful place to spend the week in beautiful Maine."

"We (kids, adults, dogs) loved this place! Right on the cove, easy walk to beach down the road. The property was well cared for; house was big enough for our family of five and cozy. Quick access to everything in the area and the hosts provided a thought guide to the area. We would definitely stay here again!"
