5. Converted Railway Wagon

Crickhowell

"Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful . Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater . Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side. "

Top Crickadarn Hotel Reviews

Hedgehogs View - a hobbit hut that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms

8/10 Good

"This was a lovely 2 night stay, the accommodation was excellent, finished to a high standard. The interior design was lovely and it will be one to remember. Lovely location and views, hot tub and bath with a view were a great addition. Very clean and comfortable. Couldn’t get Netflix working but we took games and went for walks so didn’t affect our stay too much. Internet access other than that was fine. Would recommend."

The Manor Hotel

8/10 Good

"Travelling for business stayed one night. Beautiful location, delightful old Manor House with an amazing view over the valley. Used the gym which is always a plus to have on site followed by the sauna. Food wad very good pricey but expected at this type of hotel. The place was a little dated in areas and could do with a revamp, showers failed to warm in my room, I could of raised this and I’m sure it would be sorted but at the time I was ok with it. All in all it was a nice stay would love to see the spa area brought up to date."

The Burton Hotel and Cloud Nine

10/10 Excellent

"We’re walking the Herefordshire Trail and stayed here for one night. I was a good choice. A lovely welcome. We had a room which was clean and comfortable with plenty of room to walk around. Food in the evening was good, with a good menu choice. Breakfast was excellent a good menu to choose from. All the staff were great. We would stay again if in Kington"
