「The house in Beaufour-Druval near Deauville and Dozule was a great respite. Central hub location to Normandy coast (Deauville) or Honfleur to east and Bayeux to west. Grocery and bank in Dozule, as well as numerous restaurants 10-15 minutes away. Anne Marie was very pleasant, happy, energetic host. Very accommodating and helpful. She made restaurant reservations for us first night. She even baked a DELICIOUS fruit pie for us upon arrival…HOW’S THAT FOR HOSPITALITY?! We did not have time to...

「Lovely cottage, full of character and very well-equipped. Superb location, a short walk to Asnelles beach, and a short drive to Arromanches. Bayeaux is also in easy reach by car.Both the owner and managing agent are extremely responsive and helpful.We visited in October so were not able to make use of the secluded garden area, but I think it would be very nice in the sunnier months. 「very comfortable in all aspects, very cleaned rooms, clean bathroom, good shower hot water, washing machine, very functional kitchen with great oven. Car space in the yard.Close, walking distance to all businesses, bakery, bar, hairdresseur, Aldies store, butcher, pharmacy.close to walking and bike trails, buses.Heat ok! for winter, No A/C for Summers, may need to add fans, or portable A/C units would be a plus.Very accomodating, nice, and friendly hosts.」

「Ik vond de schoonmaak niet geweldig bij aankomst, de glazen waren smoezelig, de vloer was ook niet heel schoon, koekast rook heel muf (was met een citroentje zo verholpen gelukkig) en zo nog het een en ander. Stofzuiger hangt van ducktape aan elkaar, wat de boel niet gemakkelijker maakt... Verder was het bed wel erg hard voor ons. Maar als je houdt van een hard bed is de locatie in ieder geval wel perfect. Het is letterlijk de weg oversteken, 2 minuten lopen en je zit aan een prachtig strand...
