「Got in around 6pm and had a warm welcome from Kevin, the owner. Very pleasant setting and very quiet. We stayed in a family cabin with bunk bed for kids. Their room got very toasty overnight with the heat set around 70F because we had their door closed. The whole place was so clean and well-stocked with kitchen dishes and utensils, even some coffee in case you forget to bring your own. Their was virtually no sound besides the trees, the occasional deer walking past, and the distant river all...

「Very nice setting and location. descent sized rooms. furniture is a little warn and uncomfortable. We had no hot water the first night but the local folks worked hard to get it fixed asap. They also came right away to fix a faucet that broke. Kitchen was pretty well stocked but some stuff needs replacing i.e. hot pads, towels, Knives, etc. Plenty of blankets, firewood and propane along with plenty enough kitchen and bathroom supplies for a few days. 「This was genuinely the best experience we have had for a vacation rental for the purpose of unwinding. We thoroughly enjoyed (and were pleasantly surprised by) the quality of the bath house. We adored the ability to sit around the fires at night making dinner, watching the local bird life (brand new goslings and active hummingbirds among others), and stare at the stars. Their friendly doggo loved playing fetch with us. Town was only a few minutes away and had everything we could possibly need....

「This place was a great home base for activities in Pagosa, Durango, and the surrounding areas. The only missing amenity would have been a hot tub, this could really put this place over the top. As others mentioned, noise from floors above is loud, but that is part of staying in a log cabin. We got used to it by the second night and the fandeliers in the rooms help with the noise and comfort.」
