「We had a great time at this unique place in the wilderness. This huge property was very peaceful and included a little pond and a creek (!). And it is perfectly located for visiting the “New River Gorge” Nation Park. The cabin is extremely cozy and rustic with lots of wood, impressive hunting decoration and authentic furniture. The kitchen and the bathroom were well maintained and neat. And we loved stargazing in the jacuzzi. 」

「Everything was as advertised and exceeded expectations. Beds were very comfortable, we had all the amenities we needed, and the location was a perfect base for our New River Gorge adventures! The train tracks are VERY active, but it was expected and didn’t bother us a bit. The back deck was great for bird watching! We saw many different birds, including herons and even a bald eagle. Highly recommended!」

「We enjoyed another great stay at the Verdie May house this weekend. This is our go-to place anytime we go to Lewisburg. The house is perfect for us and is in an ideal location adjacent to downtown. It’s perfect for walking to the downtown restaurants and shops, which are so nice. The beautiful wrap around porch cannot be beat! We spend lots of time out there. I highly recommend the house for anyone looking for a great place to call home while visiting the area. 」
