A dense copse of trees in a deep ravine blocks any view of water, and a gravel path of 30% grade for about 300 feet on the west border accesses an elevated deck with a dock below Otherwise, the house is great, access to the highway is great , the area is great.」

「We enjoyed our stay here. The property manager was very prompt in addressing some difficulties checking in. We had 4 adults and 2 kids and the sleeping arrangements were a bit tight, but there was space for everyone. The location is wonderful. Great spot to sit outside or check out the river or swing on the tree swing or build a fire. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils to make all our meals as well.」

「We were happy to be able to walk to everything we needed in Shawano including the stubborn brothers brewery. The place was spacious and it was really nice to have two bathrooms. Host was very responsive.」

「We (my husband, daughter and I)decided to do a weekend away with our friends and their children when we had a wedding in the immediate area. Great location for the festivities we were attending at Shawano County Park Pavillion (>5min drive). Less than 10 min drive to downtown Shawano for the farmer's market on Saturday AM.
