"Just as described. Well equipped kitchen. Everything is new and modern while maintaining a cozy cabin feel. Very secluded near the top of the mountain road. We had a pickup truck and glad we did to navigate the gravel road. Not too bad, just narrow. I’d imagine it’s more challenging when colder. We enjoyed wine and the hot tub on the patio every evening. We hiked and did breweries during the day and couldn’t wait to get back to the cabin each day. Just so relaxing We hope to be back again next year! Host very responsive. "

"We booked this property for a holiday weekend getaway for my family. We wanted relaxing and peaceful and we were certainly fulfilled after our weekend! We lost cell service about 15 minutes out of the property destination but didn’t realize it until we got there, so I had to drive back down the road to get a cell signal so I could access my key code to get in (oops! So plan ahead and write it down, lol) My key code wouldn’t work for some reason so we had to drive down the road again so I could call Casey, and she was so friendly and helpful and responsive and made sure we could get in. Once we were checked in we never had a single issue for the remainder of our stay. The house has some lovely features and updates, the outdoor areas are wonderful. The back deck is very nice, the landscaping is beautiful. The property owners have gone above and beyond to make sure the property is updated and clean and maintained. My kids spent the entire weekend hunting salamanders in the creek out back. I loved watching all of the butterflies swarming the jewel weed bushes that are planted next to the deck.We went into Weaverville and it’s such a cute little town! We hope to come back soon! "

"Excellent property in a quiet, off the beaten path location in the WNC mountains. Nature all around with a running creek, visiting turkeys, and frequent visits by pipevine swallowtail butterflies. Relaxing country home with front porch and a back deck overlooking the creek, the forest, and the fire pit."
"This is a wonderful house for a large family vacation. We had a group of 15 and there was more than enough room for us to be comfortable. There was a power outage in Black Mountain. I emailed the host and water and flashlights were delivered to us very quickly. The best part of the trip was sitting on the porch looking at that beautiful view. We would definitely stay here again."
