Welcome to our Islander Cottage! Are you dreaming of travelling back in time, of relaxing in a beautiful and tranquil home that has an abundance of character the moment you set foot through the picturesque garden gate but has all the modern comforts you can think of? You will be totally captivated with this unique and elegant reproduction of federation style cottage for its real sense of warmth and beauty.

As you walk in you are greeted with a grand entry arch with corbels and high ceilings with ceiling roses and a polished fire streak timber floors. This beautiful home offers 4 generously sized bedrooms each with fan and heating and a formal sitting room with ornate gas fireplace. The large open-plan living and dining zone is a stand-out with the incredible hostess kitchen and walk in pantry that the passionate cooks would love. Complemented by two split systems, wood fire with ornate tiles and mantle in the living area, plantation shutters or blockout curtains offers you comfort all year round. The interior unfolds to a north west oriented living zones with 6 stacker doors revealing sun-drenched undercover alfresco decking with an outdoor spa, a great place to enjoy with family and friends.

4. Check and take all your personal belongings with you. 5. Remove any wet towels on the beds and carpet areas. You can put them in the bathroom. Many thanks in advance!

Beautiful home

We enjoyed our family stay. The house is beautiful and well equipped for a large family. 1.5km walk to beach and short drive into town.

Great layout and space for a group to stay and enjoy

The property was a great layout and catered for a group with a variety of ages. It’s a great location and was well looked after. We had an issue with the spa not heating which was unfortunate as the kids couldn’t use it.

Nice getaway in Cowes

A nice house in the back streets of Cowes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here with two 4-yr olds loving the kids room. Overall, our stay was mostly positive and recommend the house. As a few others have mentioned there is some work required in some areas (garden, bbq etc.).

Another Grand Holiday at Nos 17

Thankyou to our Hosts at nos 17 Katherine Circuit Cowes. This is our second visit in so many years and we love the accommodation The location is great and the home is equipped with more than you would expect from a Holiday Rental. A few things may need some n next attention. Ie the hot water situation and the claw foot bath plugs. Both claw foot baths were unusable for the whole month There were a couple of other minor issues but nothing from deterring us from requesting a re-rental Next year. Thankyou for the use of your lovely home

Nice little getaway

We often go to stay at the island but normally at the resort or an apartment but this time thought we'd get a home and we really enjoyed this beautiful home. 1km walk to the beach . Comfortable beds and lots of TV's. So good for any age.

Everything you need for a relaxing stay

This is a beautiful property and very easy to navigate as everything is well set up, clean and spacious. Great for a big family or several adults. Perfect for beach holiday or winter cosy stay!! Good communication with host. We will be back :)

What a lovely home

This is gorgeous, we were in town for a close friends wedding and had the pleasure of staying here with our friends and son. The facilities were modern and felt luxurious. The house was spacious and provided enough privacy for all of us to come together when we wanted too and to comfortably relax when we needed a break from eachother. We had a beautiful time and would highly reccomend this home.

Beautiful home, lovely furnishings and very comfortable beds. BBQ and spa were not clean which was disappointing as we were not able to use either

Ideal Winter Break

Having decided to go to Phillip Island for several days over school holidays mid-winter with my kids, I was looking for a comfortable, warm house in reasonable proximity to the beach and shops. This was a lovely house - nicely furnished with a well equipped kitchen with modern appliances and an abundance of tvs. Bedrooms were very spacious with good linen, towels etc It was nice to come back to after our various activities. As one of the features of the house is its two fireplaces, I would suggest having some firewood for guests upon arrival.

Overall a lovely 3 week holiday. We usually stay In Genesta st but was unavailable this year. We were very happy to be availed of your home. Couple of small things. Code was wrong when we arrived. Coffee machine was broken and it just needs a suitable broom and dustpan to regularly sweep. Thankyou again

Needs maintenance

Hi, we were very excited to stay at this property, it was grandfinal day and all we wanted to do was make a bbq and have a spa...however when we got there the spa was dirty and not working and the bqq was filthy! The house needs maintence and a good sort..the kitchen items are all over the place, tomato sauce sitting there out of date, pans dont work on the stove due to be damaged, no bin bags provided etc. The house is also extememly dark and the lounge near the kitchen is so uncomfortable. A positive is the play room for kids, although toys again need to be sorted and cleaned.

Beautiful home with great amenities

Everything a family needs for a long stay with luxury extras. Central location. 10 minute walk to the shops. The spa is great (I’d recommend it being turned on by the cleaner before your guest come so they can use it the day the check in) Great communication by host Thank you so much

Summer Getaway

I stayed here with my family and really enjoyed ourselves. The rooms are very generous in size, the property is well kept, the house including furnishings are very comfortable, and the neighbourhood is very quiet which is perfect. It is only about a 5 minute drive to red rock beach and about the same to the Main Street of Cowes.
