"Beautiful surroundings and I loved the hotel. So much character and in the room too. Whilst the room lacked a lot of light and some modern touches I didn’t care as I loved the traditional look. Great comfortable bed and for an old building the water pressure and temperature of the water was perfect. Thank you. "

"Lovely hotel, clean and well maintained however the stars of the show are definitely the staff, every single one is friendly and can’t do enough for you. Ladies at check in = wonderful, waitress/waiter in the restaurant =excellent, chef on the evening = fabulous, staff at breakfast = great, and chef at breakfast = awesome. Rooms very clean so clearly the house keeping staff are also brilliant. Very well managed, congratulations to everyone on a fabulous hotel."

"Staff very friendly and attentive. Room cold and air con noisy. Room large , bed on casters that moved at slightest movement. Bathroom good size , shower ok Curtain wall hid the carpark wall from view. Carpark is multi storey very narrow spaces but had room , stair wells not so good no fault of hotel but smelt"
