"Very clean and comfortable. Only issue we had is we had to leave early at 6am, so my husband went out to load the car and was locked out. He had to call me to come down and let him back in the building. But staff was friendly and food in the restaurant was good."

"Perfect house in the perfect location. We loved our stay here with friends. It was 6 adults with 2 dogs and we all had room to hang together, relax and visit some wineries. The beds were comfy and it was so nice a quiet. The house was cozy and tastefully decorated. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. We liked the other touches like the record player and albums in the cool loft, wireless speaker in the kitchen and dog towels so we didn’t have muddy paws running around the house. We had so much fun we are already planning to do this again next year."

"Everything was just as expected, nice home, everything was clean and comfy! The only thing we had troubles with was getting there as it states its on S. Chapin rd and its E.Chapin rd which is 17 minutes away but no biggie! Thank you we would do it again! "

"We were a group of 23 (mix of adults/kids) driving from Chicago for a small group retreat. Upon arrival at 9pm, the driveway was snowed in with 3 inches of snow where 2 cars were stuck at the bottom of the driveway. When I called Sage (guest services) for assistance, she stated that "we would have sent someone tonight, but it cannot be helped until the next morning." When I reached out again, stating that this is a safety issue as we have nowhere to park our cars until tomorrow (we had about 7 cars in our group), and asked again for someone to come tonight, I received the same answer. They eventually sent someone after I persisted over 30 minutes. Once the snow removal arrived, it took another hour for the job to be completed - so several of us had to wait on the street until it was done, preventing us from entering and settling into the home until 11pm. Walkway and stairs were not shoveled or salted - we had to do this on our own.Keurig was not usable - the water case appeared to not have been changed for a very long time, as there was mold in the water.Utensils/dishes were not clean. We had to rewash it by hand before using it because the dishwasher would leave a strange white residue on it. The smoke alarm had a low battery that required changing. This disturbed some of us while sleeping and posed a safety concern as we had to remove the whole alarm.Overall house was clean, but lots of little things that disrupted our stay. "

"They thought of everything!!!! The place is spacious and so welcoming. The small details were what made it feel so homey. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen is stocked and easy to to cook and hangout. We will definitely be back. "

"Perfect friends weekend. The place was well stocked with everything we needed. Clean and comfortable throughout. Eddie was an incredibly helpful host. He showed us the ins and outs of the cabin as well as how to navigate the river and the pontoon. We caught plenty of small mouth and a couple walleye - in the middle of the day as well as at night. Buchanon's a great town - with groceries, Lowery's meat & fish market and nice restaurants (River Saint Joe had great food and tasty in-house brewery beers) all close by, but not too close. All in all a great, relaxing trip and stay. "
