"Before booking, we read the description of the hotel and the reviews and looked at the location on Google Maps. When we arrived, we found that the hotel and room were exactly what we thought we'd get -- a quiet, very clean, and thoughtfully designed space in a location that allowed for a cheaper price. It's a pleasant and easy (assuming health and ability) 15-minute stroll into town. There's plenty of safe parking. The communal kitchen is a brilliant addition, though we didn't use it on this occasion. Everything felt fresh and clean. Some reviewers have complained about the cold taps in the bathroom, but we had both hot and cold taps, seemingly new. Some have complained about the cold bathrooms, but we had a bathroom heater that could be set for up to four hours and warmed the space nicely. Some reviewers commented that not having a reception desk felt a bit weird, but we've stayed at places like this in other countries when travelling and were perfectly happy with the arrangement. When I asked a question by email, even late in the evening, I got a reply very quickly. We were very happy with our stay and would easily stay there again. "

"The recently refurbished (I understand) room was a generous size, and bed was enormous and comfortable. The view over the square was great, but this meant a few noise issues from passers by at kicking out time. The walk in shower was clean but lack of shelving for shower gel and shampoo seemed like an oversight. "

"The photos don’t do justice to Honeysuckle House. The kitchen is perfect for gathering for coffee and breakfast in the morning or wine and dinner in the evening, the living room is cosy but spacious too. All the beds and bathrooms were beautifully clean and wonderfully comfy. The decorations throughout the house are so fun. We had a dog with us and it was totally secure at the back too which was great. Nice and quiet with lovely walks from the house. Great location to explore the Cotswolds and we had a gorgeous sunny walk to the source of the Thames. Great restaurants nearby too. Thoroughly recommend."
