"This apartment is a very well situated property. It has VERY BASIC amenities. That being said, it was very clean, quiet and very close to the beach and food market. There are so many restaurants nearby and the funicular that leads to the cliff view of the giant waves is within walking distance. You’ll pass by many restaurants. 2euros up 2euros down. "

"The roof top apartment high above the town and beaches did not disappoint. We were thrilled with our all too short visit but the spectacular sunset was everything we hoped to see. "Great place to stay for a close walk to beach and restaurants and the trolly up the hill to see the famous waves. Room was comfortable. We even took advantage of the washer and hung our clothes out in the fresh air to dry. A little difficult to find the room in the maze of skinny side walks, but it was worth it."

"The apartment is exactly as the pictures, we had a little bit of confusion when we arrived as we had not received any communication from VRBO so maybe there must be some glitch in the system. The apartment is fully equipped, very new, very modern and extremely clean. It is one block away from the beach and there is a parking lot half a block away with spaces for all of the apartments from Batata to park.Amazing place."
