The pool and hot tub was closed for renovation. The AC was not working properly in the lobby area. The lobby bathroom was closed and not usable. The elevators were filthy. And it took about 10 minutes before someone came to the front desk to check me and another guest behind me in line in. The room was great and the bed was comfortable. But we had to buy another blanket because there wasn't enough covers (additional one not provided).

Check in was at 3pm. We didnt arrive until 11p.m and our room wasnt ready, we had to wait 45 minutes for a room to be ready. The lobby was not air conditioned. The floors in the lobby were dirty with stains. Our room was dirty, and did not have towels or hand soap.

There was a severe shortage of towels. The fitness center and pool were closed. The only ice machine that worked was on the 4th floor. None of the laundry facilities worked. There was the same dirty green shirt and trash in the stairs for the whole 6 nights that we were there. The breakfast was mediocre. Waffles were not always available. There was lude writing and scrapes in the elevator. Water pressure sucked and the water was not really hot. Check in took quite awhile due to long line with one person working the desk. We had to have our key reprogrammed several times during our stay. We had to ask for soap, toilet paper, and towels several times.

Rooms were very dirty and the bathroom shower was covered in mold. Access to the gym was closed and the pool was closed as well. This place needs to be closed and overhauled as it is unsafe from a health and safety perspective.

Air conditioning was out in the lobby. No one was at front desk at 5pm on a Saturday. Once someone came to the front desk they said there was a delay in cleaning rooms due to short staff and they would call me. No call came. Checked back later at 10pm. No more rooms available and she said they were sold out.

Our reservation was canceled when we arrived by check in time. The hotel never called, didn’t notify us of any of the changes. I showed up to check in with three young children, one with severe special needs and we had no where to go. We live 3 hours away and booked the room a week in advance.

They had no towels available. We booked for 5 and only had 2 big towels in the room. When we went to ask for more the lady at the front desk said they didn’t have any. The pool was out of order & the restroom in our room was not working properly. It did not want to flush. We ended up having to check out the room and go look for another hotel room to stay at. This was the worst experience ever.

Starting with the staff, who were incredibly rude, they changed my room three times because they were dirty, with unmade beds, cobwebs, bad smells, and trash in the bins from previous guests. I couldn't use the TV because they didn't have a remote control, and the pool was closed even though the app said it was open. Horrible.

Our stay at the Wingate by Wyndham Corpus Christi was extremely disappointing and frankly concerning from a health and safety standpoint. Both showers had visible mold, along with soap scum buildup in the shower dish. The mini fridge in one of our rooms had so much ice buildup in the freezer compartment that the door would not close, causing water to leak onto the floor. One room had no window shade at all, leaving the room fully exposed to anyone outside — a serious privacy and safety issue. The hot water took over five minutes to get warm. The TV remote in one room did not work, and the front desk informed us they didn’t even have batteries available to fix it. The bathroom door made a horrific squeaking noise every time it was opened or closed. One bed was missing a comforter entirely. The pool and hot tub were under repair and unavailable, which was disappointing, and only one ice machine (on the fourth floor) was functioning. Most troubling was the condition of the property overall and the attitude of the staff. Front desk assistance was anything but helpful. We were told multiple times that “the owner knows about the issues” but refuses to address them. This hotel is poorly maintained and shows clear signs of neglect. The mold alone raises serious health concerns. I would strongly caution anyone considering staying here to look elsewhere.

We only received a sheet on the bed, no blanket, the fire alarms went off at 2:12am, I went to call downstairs to see what was going on and the phone didn't even have a cord connecting it. It was a fake phone. Tiles were broken in our room and it caught my shoe, I fell and hurt my knee really bad. The room was absoluetly disgusting. Looks like it hadn't been cleaned at all. Stuff on the walls, in the air vents, handprints on the headboard, "stuff" on the bedskirt, my daughter walked barefoot for 5 mins and the bottoms of her feet were black. This was the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed at!
