Tejas Angler Retreat

Tejas Angler Retreat in Aransas Pass is one of the most comfortable and fully equipped vacation rentals in the Coastal Bend. Conveniently located only minutes from Redfish Bay, the best flats fishing in Texas - accessible from Conn Brown Harbor or the wonderful, hidden Navigation District boat ramp just two blocks away. Only a short golf cart ride and you’ll find fantastic seafood restaurants, breakfast tacos for those early fishing mornings, or the HEB at the end of the street if you choose to cook in the fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy a drink or the coastal breeze on the old school boardwalk porch, or barbecue under the covered back patio. You’ll have plenty of parking for all of your guests, as well as your boat, kayaks, toy hauler or golf cart on this spacious lot. Come find your happy place.



Other nearby attractions include the Lighthouse Lakes Paddling Trail, great shore fishing at several public piers and the causeway along the Aransas Channel. You can make the 15-minute drive to Rockport and of course you’re just a hop, skip and a ferry ride from the beaches, jetties, shopping, dining and everything else Port Aransas has to offer. Great Place to Stay!

This property has a great location in Aransas Pass! It was super to easy to navigate to Port Aransas and with in the neighborhood. The place was clean and had plenty of kitchen items. Overall would recommend staying here!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It's a nice little house. Comes in as advertised. We had an issue with the management company and a broken hot water heater. they did what was right - gave us a refund.

The house was adorable and matched the online description. We accidently locked ourselves out of the house the first night. It was hard trying to find the contact information since the phone that had the code and email was in the house. But once we found the contact information, the woman we spoke to on the phone was super helpful. The only gripe i would have was that the house was not cleaned very well. There were ants and hair everywhere in the house. Also, the bath tub is broken and looks gross.

We enjoyed our stay at the Happy Hour House. There were even toys for our little one to be entertained. It was great! Highly recommend for a short family vacation.

Loved it!

My family and I loved the Happy Hour House, it had everything we needed and was a quick drive to wherever we were headed! Carrie and Dean were very responsive and helpful! We hope to be able to stay again next year :)

Fishing Weekend!

Thank you, Carrie! Your home was perfect. The place was very clean and comfortable. We were there for a weekend of fishing and liked the proximity to boat ramps and the room to park our boat. If only the fish were biting! :) We hope to stay again soon!
