North Shore Ocean Escape

Our condo faces the ocean. You can sit on the porch and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a nice cocktail in the evening. We have a heat pool right down the elevator for easy access. The beach is right behind the building. You just grab you beach chair and walk right out the gate and you are right there. Go for a swim or get out your fishing pole. It is a great site to relax! If you are looking to attend concerts we are just over the bridge from the American Bank Center. Downtown Corpus Christi has a wonderful restaurant scene. So go be a foodie! We are also fortunate enough to have a minor league baseball team...Go Hooks! It is a wonderful spot and it perfect for a little break from the beach...

Tip in review

This was in a great location. The 1 bedroom condo was nice for our family. We were able to fit a queen sized air mattress in the living room for our 2 younger ones. Very close to a lot of attractions/things to do. North beach was nice but there was too many jelly fish. We drove about 30 minutes to whitecap beach and that was great!

FALSE ADVERTISING

Pictures are not up to date. The listing clearly stated there was a futon sofa, and there were sleeping accommodations for FOUR people. When we arrived, the AC was not working, and it was close to 90 degrees in the condo! The owner was very nice and called maintenance. We had to leave because it was so hot. We came back after a long day of traveling and wanted to rest. We find out the couch is not a sleeper sofa as advertised, and my daughter has to sleep on the floor. The next day we had to purchase an air mattress and bedding. The listing also stated there is a tv in the bedroom. Well, it was in the closet on the floor and on its side (very dusty) with the cords wrapped around it. On the balcony, there is now fake turf on the floor (not in the current pictures) covered with food debris from the previous occupants. The foundation has shifted, and the restroom door does not close. There may be a busted pipe or leak near the kitchen sink area because the floor is very soft and spongey. I have had failed attempts when I sent messages to the owner and asked for a partial refund. However, I know they received and read my messages because descriptions on the listing has changed. SHADY!

Not what we expected.

Owners very nice and attentive. Property resort is run down. We didn’t know about the construction being completed on the building. Woke up to noise every morning and lasted all day. Death trap elevator. Property floors need repairing. Bathroom door sticks and makes horrible noise when shut. Cooktop scary. Not what we expected at all!!

Stay Away Do Not Stay!!!!

Checked in on a Friday left on a Sunday. Condo property was very old and dirty. In the condo we stayed in I discovered a drawer of sliver wear covered in black grease with green mold all over the sliver wear. Contacted the property owner as soon as it was discovered and she apologized. On Sunday morning went to balcony to sit on the outdoor patio chairs fell through the chair as chair was missing screws scratched and bruised myself because of broken chair. Contacted owner and she apologized and said she would refund me my stay followed up two weeks later and owner refused to refund my stay and now claims I caused damages how is that possible if I chronicled the damages with her do not stay in the condo.

Sweet Little Beach Front Spot.

We were looking for a quick getaway ON the beach and we found it. Host was hyper responsive and sweet. Really can't beat the price to be on the beach. Stores close by to grab essentials. We'll be back!
