This house is a nice place with a good view of the gulf of America. Great kitchen with all the utensils. No need to bring anything. We will stay here again when it’s available for a month

amazing peaceful house right on the beach

Loved every second of my stay , even though it was raining the whole time in port aransas this house kept us going with so many bored games and especially the pool table and some amazing views of the ocean from the living room it just all felt right!

Stunning property great location

We used this property for a junior/senior trip from a small private school. It was perfectly setup for us with plenty of space and things to do! The property was beautiful and so close to the beach. Thank you for providing a wonderful space for our trip!

50th bday review

It was great overall. Very roomy and great location. There is some visible wear and tear that needs to be attended to. For example, exposed nails that could hurt someone. The outdoor shower area has several old, rusty expoed nails that could hurt someone. Upon entering you notice several boards that also have exposed nails that need attending to before someone trips or cuts themselves and needs a tetanus shot. This place could be perfect if someone would just put a couple of hours work into it. The pool table was perfect for entertaining but also has some very noticeable damage that needs to be taken care of. I would stay here again due to location and size though.

Beach time fun

We had a great time! This property is located super close to the beach. Beds were comfy. There was a Keurig coffee maker at the time of our stay. (not listed in property details)

Horrible service

1st day we checked in to this house It smelled like mildew 1 of my daughter in laws got sick with allergies, luckily we had allergy medications on us. (2nd problem)The TV in the main living room Wasn't working at all that day and you couldn't call because it was considered a non emergency situation. (3rd problem)The other tvs in the guest rooms didn't work at all!! The master room was the only one that worked! Some of us came to fish while grandma and grandpa came to just get away, so they stayed home having to watch TV in our room. I emailed Sand Keys about the TV and someone came out to check it sat may 21st and was supposed to return around 2 PM that day they never came back, nor did they even call to see how things were! Later that night on Saturday the group that went fishing came in for the day. We came inside and gathered some food to bbq the meat out on the pit and noticed my son's license plate was missing from his truck. The night before when we checked in he had backed his truck up into the driveway so his front of the truck was facing out towards the street. (4th problem) I reached out because that to me was a necessary call to make to Sand keys, the answering service answered and I left a message with the operator that we needed someone to call us back and tell us how to handle the situation on getting an officer to make a report and not having to call 911 Just to make a report for his license plate. We had to drive home to San Antonio Sunday morning and that would be risking us getting a ticket No one ever reached back out to us at all! I rented condos with other realtors at Port A And I've never been so disappointed sit the service as i have with this company. (5th problem)we sat waiting for TV to come on after 2 hours it finally worked again as we turn the lights off in the living room and kitchen,(6th problem) saw flying bugs on the tv screen i got up and knocked them off with a rag and killed them on the floor they went to go sit back on the sofa and one of my daughter-in-law's said look there's more I killed 3 more. These bugs kept coming from behind the tv! They were all over the fireplace, screen to TV, around us on the sofa. It was annoying. Lastly as some of us needed to shower they had to share the stand up shower in living room area and the under the shower door there wasn't appropriate cover for the water not to spray out or run down from door into the draining area so it was leaking out onto the floor!!

Stress relief

The purpose: Away from day to day and a nature healing. It served the purpose well. PS Gate lock to foot bridge needs repair. Roaches in bathrooms and kitchen. We sprayed them with alcohol. (Nature happens)

Perfect house for family vacation

The house was perfect for our family! Lots of room, awesome kitchen to cook, sweet outdoor screened porch to eat on, lots of storage, fun pool table, ridiculously close walk to the boardwalk..... Seriously, we are already planning next year's trip at this property!!

Good Vacation place

The house was big enough for my family. With the rooms I would recommend new beds they make to much noise when you move around and you can actually feel the wires inside the bed , TV in 2 of the rooms did not work but I wasn't to worry about it since we were outside having fun not inside watching TV. Maybe put more trash bags around the house we literally only have 2 small bags for the kitchen, when you have a big family you have a lot of trash, lucky we had our own. Other than that management was awesome, reply to my questions fast. The check in - check out process was easy. So definitely we will rent the house again for future trips.

Sand Key Realty should lose their license

I have never give a bad review before. I can prove that (all 5 stars on Google). The house was beautiful but the beds were uncomfortable. Our dryer and cable were both broken upon arrival. They promptly worked on fixing the dryer but the owner wanted to replace it. We understand that these things happen but how it was handled was horrific. They finally replaced the dryer on the last day. They never cared to fix the cable and lied that we said it was ok. It was March Madness and we had 5 small children. We called 3x about it and told the maintenance man when he came to look at the dryer, came back to measure for a new one, and replaced it. We never said the cable being out was ok. 3 days after our stay we had to reach out to them because they never reached out to us to make up for our inconveniences. Using dirty wet towels at a dirty beach was no fun. The kids didn't even want to go back on the last day because of it. When I reached out Audrey, who I later found out was the owner of the management company, she got super defensive and only focused on my complaints about the dirty house and poor amenities (we found previous renters' dirty laundry in 2 places, and the floors made our socks black upon arrival) and never addressed the more important issues. She continued to give me the run around with defenses back and forth for days, even though I asked to speak to someone else 2x, until I got so upset I asked if I needed to call my lawyer. Well apparently that means she can no longer talk to me so there was never a resolution. 8 emails later she made it all my fault with lies and defenses. I have stayed in many rental properties, hotels etc. Normal hospitality would have provided us with at least sympathy and a compensation of some sort or try to get us another house/room if the broken things were not fixable. Instead I was insulted many times and it caused me additional days of stress. I would never stay in one of their houses again.

Absolute best place for a large group!

There is lots of room in this house! Our only drawback is that for future tenants that they are aware of trash pick up. We had to take the people before us trash down and then missed the second trash pick other than this we are grateful that you shared your beautiful home with our family for our vacation. We had a blast!

Great location

The house was was exactly how it looks in the pictures! The trash was very full the first day we arrived. We called the prop mgmt company and they came to empty it right away. We would stay here again. For the price and location it was a good fit

This property is great for big crowds. There was plenty of room and the kitchen is very well equipped. Pool table and dish washer needed to be fixed, but overall a great spot near the beach.

Awesome home within walking distance to the beach

We had a really nice time staying at the property. It is a very well maintained home within walking distance to the beach. Some minor things which can be improved are as follows. 1) The TVs in the bedrooms are really small. The do not go with the rest of the place. Also there was no remote. 2) The ice maker in the fridge did not work. 3) We saw and killed a few roaches 4) The microwave is very small. 5) There is a nice speaker system installed but no instructions on how to use it.
