Nice location, unfortunately not well maintained. The garden is full with pebbles instead of flowers. And there is is big building being built in the back. Lim icing the view and destroying the ambiance.

Wouldn't recommend. Overpriced.

Was disappointed overall with the stay. For $150 USD per night it is not worth it. WiFi only worked in the lobby and was very spotty and slow. It was faster being off WiFi. The breakfast was terrible and had more lunch options than breakfast options. Eggs, pancakes, and french toast were all undercooked. We skipped breakfast our last day. However, the room had great A/C, and bathroom was great except that the hot water never got hot, barely even got warm. We ended up staying closer to town at half the cost and having all the amenities included that we're missing.

Excellent service. Kind and helpful staff. If you need fluffy Hilton resort beds or harder ones, these beds hurt my hips and I couldn't stay there again due to the beds, everything else was great. :)

This property is well kept and well maintained, has hot shower, AC . Environment is clean with a beautiful garden and swimming pool. The price includes a daily breakfast buffet and transfers from and to the airport! Excellent service

The hotel staff made our stay so much easy. Whatever we needed, they were there and helping us. Booking the Coron tours through our hotel was the smartest choice we have ever done. Thank you for everything.

Chegamos ao hotel pela manhã, e pedimos pra que a recepcionista agendasse um tour pra gente aproveitar o dia. Ela fez uma ligação e disse que não teria mais vaga. Tive que implorar que fizesse mais contatos até que conseguimos uma pra aquela hora. Solicitei o café da manhã daquele dia que não estava na viagem, ela já me respondeu com o valor do café. Isso não era o problema, se o café fosse ao menos descente. Só tinha ovo mexido e pães, nada mais. As poucas frutas estavam expostas ao sol. No final de semana. Que tinha mais hóspedes o café mudou com mais opções. Quarto é confortável. Local distante do centro.

Great stay

Coron Getaway

The place is clean but kind of far from the main city. If you want to stay in a quite place then you will enjoy your stay here. However, the wifi sucks. They don't have wifi in the room, only in the restaurant and main lobby and hard to connect also.

It was quite difficult bcoz it rained. There were no umbrellas readily available upon our arrival and since it is a garden resort, we had to walk under the rain. Inconvenient with regard only to this.

Charming garden resort

Our stay at Sophia's Garden was super relaxing. The resort is a few minutes from town but easily accessible by tricycle or van transfers for island tours, all of which can be coordinated and set up for you by the front desk (note that the prices will be a little higher this way, but you pay for the convenience). Breakfast is decent and the restaurant for dinner is also good, though service can be a bit slow. But you can also request to have dinner served at one of the tables out in the garden, which was really nice! The rooms are clean and comfortable but can be a bit dark as there were no real windows. The pool was great and the garden areas were like hanging out in a nicely landscaped backyard. Wifi was slow and spotty, but helps to force you to unplug while in Coron!

Nice hotel about 5 mins from town.

Only 10 mins from town, Sophias Garden is pretty with a nice pool area and great staff. it cost 25 peso or $.50 per person to get to town so very cheap. Was one of the nicest places I saw in the area and would stay again.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Staff is friendly, room was clean. Only downside is the shower would only run hot water for 1-2 minutes before becoming cold for 1-2 minutes, then warm up again.
