Beautiful cabins in a gorgeous bush setting but ..

The cabins here are lovely , comfortable beds and serenely quiet. The one drawback though is our definition of bathroom nearby and theirs! I was fully aware that our bathroom was not in the cabin but nearby, this meant over a little bridge down a path past the communal kitchen and right next to someone elses room and outdoor sitting area. Going to the bathroom was not a private experience but rather an enforced social experience. It is such a shame as the rest of the place is a beautiful peaceful experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hush. Marilyn and Steve made us feel very welcome and provided lots of ideas for things to do around Coromandel town. The accommodation was very comfortable and beautifully presented...really pretty at night with illuminated paths!

We stayed in the "Hideaway" and it was great. Very clean and cozy. It is just a 3 minute drive from the city centre. The community kitchen is in a very good condition and has everything you need.

Best place that we stayed in during our 3 weeks in both North and South Islands. Highly recommend the Hideaway hut, loved the over flowing garden shrubs and stream running through the conplex! Beautiful both day and night. I would highly recommend to anyone going to New Zealand for an authentic NZ stay.

Delightful and relaxing

We had a wonderful two-night stay at this lovely little hideaway. It's the perfect place to relax, has a beautiful location, and the host recommended some fantastic short walks nearby, which we loved. The rooms are cosy and charming and the shared kitchen is well-equipped and immaculately clean. Everything here has been done with care and attention. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely peaceful rest away from home

We spent two nights at the Happiness cabin and would definitely go back. The cabin was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Lovely peaceful vibe and Marilyn was very welcoming. She has a lot of knowledge about the area and gave us some great suggestions regarding activities, cafes etc. Awesome large bathroom with a wonderful HOT shower! Highly recommended.

Romantischer Aufenthalt in der Hush Boutique

Wir haben für zwei Nächte das "Hideaway" Studio in der Hush Boutique Accommodation auf der Coromandel Halbinsel gebucht. Die Unterkunft liegt ein paar Autominuten von der Stadt Coromandel direkt vis-a-vis von der Driving Creek Railway entfernt. Das Hush Boutique besteht aus ein paar schönen Studios, welche im Grünen gelegen sind. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, morgens kann man dem Gesang der Vögel lauschen. Zudem besteht draussen die Möglickeit, zu kochen (bedacht). Einziger Minuspunkt: Es gab keine Zimmerreinigung.

Quirky, peaceful, comfortable stay

Quirky set of cabins in rural, rain-forest type setting with communal kitchen, eating area and boardwalk access to cabins. Just 4 cabins, so quiet, relaxing and peaceful surroundings. Excellent service and welcome from the owners. Our cabin, Harmony, was comfortable with two bedrooms (bunk bed in 2nd) with good bathroom, although another bathroom for other cabins was part of the same building, so some shower noise intruded. Plenty of parking, good wi-fi and Creek Railway is across the road. Coromandel is a couple of miles away, but easy access. Local area is stunning, especially the drive to Thames. Pepper Tree restaurant locally has superb food in relaxed environment.
