The home was nice and we will visit Corolla again. We came prepared with cups to use a Keurig coffe maker. There isn't one.🥴 We will definitely require a home with an Elevator and direct Oceanfront. We are a party of 12 in our 70s and 80s. We'll be in touch to reserve another home.

The house was very clean. It was in good condition as well. Typically when I rent houses, something is always broken. Everything worke as it should. The hot tub is roomy. We did not get to use the pool as the water was cold. It is a good location, all was quiet while we were there. I would recommend this house.

Beautiful home near beach access

We really enjoyed the house and all its amenities particularly the hot tub and pool area. Located just a short walk from the beach in a nice neighborhood. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home. Would definitely recommend.

Loved the house and it's location to the beach. Very nice community pool. Wi-Fi did not work, and Shoreline OBX promptly addressed the issue. Check in was very easy.

Amazing week!

The house was perfect. Great neighborhood, great beach access and well thought out floorplan. Also, the kitchen was WELL stocked with all the pots/pans/plates/cups/etc you could ever need. You can plan to cook anything and they'll have what you need! We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

A Nice Getaway

Salty State of Mind provided a nice opportunity to get away from the everyday and spend some time in the Outer Banks. Despite the cold and rainy weather, we made it down to the beach for a walk everyday and enjoyed getting to know the Corolla area. The house is very comfortable and although it needs a few items fixed or updated, it suited us just fine. The location can't be beat.

Couldn't of asked for a better stay! Had a problem with plumbing and maintenance was there within 20 minutes of request. Our pool and hot tub was spent flawless! Couldn't of asked for a better family vacation rental! Highly recommended!!!

Family Time in Outer Banks

The property was perfect for our family of 10, ages 5 to 66. Clean and well equipped home. Communications from the property manager were helpful. Checkin and checkout were seamless. Hike to and from the beach with our gear was a little bit of a workout due to many steps over the dunes, but well worth it. Highly recommended.

The house itself is very nice. However there were some issues. Our garbage cans were full, propane tank empty ,bottles with cigarette butts left on the decks, boxes of pizza left in the oven. There was also a wiring issue in the bedroom. The light would turn on then off, and the recessed lights burnt out when turned on.

Even Closer to Beach Than We Hoped

WOW! What an amazing week! We loved being on a beach block-the walk to and from the beach was SOOOOO easy-2 minutes! We also loved being in a community so close to shopping and dining. We walked to Duck Donuts each morning! 2 minutes drive BUT only a 20 minute walk on a shaded sidewalk. The house itself was perfect. The game room and pool table made for fun family evenings. New TV's and really fast internet! Well stocked kitchen too! You can even see the ocean from the various porches!

overall, we were happy with our stay. I think they need to catch up on some touchups but nothing that was a dealbreaker for us. We were sure to report anything that we saw that needed attention like stains on the carpet, etc. we came in right before a lot of rain so we had to deal with the Palmetto bugs, which was kind of a bummer but they were very responsive And had the pest company out like within a couple hours of our call I was so impressed with that. overall would recommend

Absolutely wonderful

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Salty State of Mind. Our family consists of my husband and me, our 3 adult children, my 84-year-old mom and our dog. The bedrooms/beds were perfect for our group. The house was clean and well-maintained. We discovered that the vacuum was not working, but after calling the maintenance number, a new one was delivered within a couple of hours. Additionally, we decided to have the pool heated after we arrived, and within 30 minutes of calling the office, someone was at the house to turn on the heat. This was our 2nd time visiting the area and plan to return in the future.

Excellent family vacation property

This was our second time vacationing in OBX (Corolla) and this property met all of our needs. The house was available earlier than the check-in time and it was cleaned really well. We had a couple minor issues (noisy toilet, dead power outlet) and the management company was super responsive. They sent someone immediately and all of the employees we met at the house were very polite. We really appreciated that every bedroom had an en suite bathroom. The house also has plenty of puzzles and games, which are great for kids. 5-minute walk to the beach. We also used the community tennis courts, which were reasonably well maintained. Finally, we liked that the house is situated between Harris Teeter and Food Lion, 3-5 minutes away in either direction.

Lovely place!

Our family just got back from visiting this lovely home. It met all of our needs. We were traveling with an 8 week old and the little sitting room off from the kitchen was the perfect space to set up a nursery within earshot of the king master bedroom. The heated pool was wonderful as it was a little chilly most of the week. Fully stocked kitchen was great. Very short walk to the beach and a nice trail around the lake for daily walks. Only thing I would suggest is that the drawers in the kitchen be fixed and the blinds in the bedrooms didn't work very well going up and down. A good dusting of the wall vents and windows. But that's just regular maintenance. It was beautifully decorated as well. All in all it was an absolutely perfect wonderful place to stay. Thx for your hospitality 😊
