"Villa Roberta was one of the very best properties we've ever stayed in - a beautiful house, wonderful mature garden and large, clean swimming pool but made especially memorable by the warm welcome and personal touches of Leonilde who welcomed us to her home and made sure we had the perfect holiday. We loved the peace and quiet of the house but also how quick and easy it was to reach Paestum, Salerno and on to the Amalfi Coast. We look forward to returning very soon."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villa Virginia!The property is beautiful, spotless, and very well maintained, with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday. The highlight was definitely the private pool – crystal clear, bigger than expected size, and a great spot to spend lazy afternoons soaking up the sun and watching kids enjoying splashing in the pool.The villa itself is spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home....

"Bei Ankunft und im laufe des Aufenthalts war das Personal immer freundlich. Leider wussten wir nichts davon, dass in den Camp Dauercamper sind und es auf dem Campingplatz aussah wie auf einem Flohmarkt, lauter Buden und Häuschen. Nebenan im Camp war eine Demo mit ca 50 Personen die den ganzen Tag Vorträge gehalten haben, wir hatten den ganzen Tag außer Mittags (13-16 Uhr Mittagsruhe) keine Ruhe im Camp. Abends gab es immer Programm bis 0 Uhr (Laute Musik). Der Pinienwald war leider auch nicht...

"We had a great stay, place is spacious, well equipped, and has a wonderful outside space and pool. Mr Giuseppe [the owner] was very responsive and helpful. Check in / out was smooth, we got some great recommendations, and we were able to check in early and enjoy a beautiful afternoon at the pool. The house is located in a beautiful area and 1 week was too short to do all the things we wanted to do!"

"Hotel has probably seen it’s day. Photo of outdoor pool shown on Expedias website was the draw to stay there. Pool is closed! FALSE ADVERTISING! General staff was very helpful and tried hard to help the guests but we were shocked to wake up to a woman screaming at the top of her lungs berating some poor fellow. Turned out she was someone important in the hotel chain of command, she was sitting in a nice office. Not used to this kind of abuse at full volume and in earshot of everyone who was in the lobby. I heard it from our second floor room! Very reminiscent of the old British sitcom “Fawlty Towers”. Take a pass on this place it’s in the middle of nowhere as well."

"Quaint boutique hotel just minutes from the Greek ruins. Hotel lobby is beautiful as are the expansive grounds. Our room was very small, but that is our fault for not verifying the room size when we booked it. Wifi bandwidth was limited but we were able to stream/FaceTime with periodic disruption. (The hotel did also have some internet issues when we checked-in.) Very good restaurant on site - Michele the maitre’d/ sommelier was very friendly and gave us some wonderful recommendations for wine options. He proudly showed us his wine cellar and various wines that he stocks from the region. Really enjoyed our stay."

"We attended a wedding in Capaccio. The bride and groom suggested this hotel. It is so tastefully done. Even though it is only about 10 years old it appears authentic. The restaurant was superb and the proprietor and staff were exceptional with their caring. It is a family operation and they are charming. The views were magnificent with water views including the Isle of Capri in the distance. The beds were comfortable and rooms are spacious. We enjoyed the pool as it was a warm time of year. I highly recommend this hotel and their staff!"

"Very secure, gated property with beach access. Very friendly and helpful staff (family) did everything they could to make our short stay perfect. The rooms are big, bright and well equipped. Very comfortable bed. Lovely continental buffet breakfast. We didn't use the Spa facilities. A short drive to Paestum archaeological site, and also local shops and restaurants. "
