Villa Luisa Corfu by Villa Plus

  • Villa Luisa Corfu is a bright, tastefully decorated property in an excellent location. Perched on a hill just above Barbati Beach, the shoreline is just a 5 minute downhill stroll from the villa. You’ll have everything you need close at hand including a handful of welcoming tavernas and a handy mini market. Back at the villa, relax in your comfortable surroundings and enjoy the sparkling sea views. WiFi, pool heating and air conditioning/ heating in all the bedrooms are included.

    Villa Luisa Corfu is located on the edge of Barbati resort and has a path leading from the villa’s front door all the way down to the stunning Barbati Beach. The beach is well served with restaurants and a variety of lively bars. Within a few minutes’ walk of the villa, you’ll also find bars, shops, cafes and tavernas in this small yet popular resort. Perfectly positioned to explore all the spectacular north east coast has to offer, there are plenty more attractive dining settings and beaches nearby. Further afield, the historic and characterful capital, Corfu Town, can be reached in a 30 minute drive.

    Main pool: 4.3 x 3.5 mtr, 1.1 - 1.4 mtr depth.

    Pool heating is not available during July and August.

    Lead traveller must be 21 years old or older.

    Greek Climate Resilience Tax - €15.00 per villa per night. Payable during check-in.

We have stayed at the villa in August. Positives:. Location is great. Literally 4 minutes walk to the beach via direct pathway . Beach area is superb. It features number of beach bars, water is of great quality (clean, warm and waveless). Near villa on the upper side - enough variety of tavernas, coffee shops, grocery shops (I would recommend Joy and bakery across). There's one parking slot for the car reserved. Villa pool is excellent and clean. Great outside area in villa with BBQ at the pool. Ping pong tableNegatives (in the random order):. Google map link to the location was given wrong. It was very much stressful to find it by ourselves (by luck we found it). Before that we were stuck in our car on very steep and narrow street in the wrong place. Two air-conditioners were out of order (it was fixed afterwards). Main air-conditioner in the living area was intentionally switched off (we were told it is the policy whatever it means?). Electricity system went bust (fuses). It was loud and dangerous (it was fixed afterwards). Basement part of the villa is awful. Smells bad. Moisture caused mold. Impossible to stay. Shower in the basement didn't work. It was not fixed. . The container for garbage is located is far away on the narrow street with no pedestrian pathway 400 m away.Conclusions:. Overpriced (to pay for it 800 usd per day - is not worth it).. Not recommended by me.
