A serene contemporary home with tempting infinity pool and inspiring sea views.
Imbued with a Zen-like tranquillity, Paschalia is the perfect retreat for those in search of R&R while still being close to Corfu's summery buzz. Its elevated position above Barbati beach on Corfu's northeast coast means that sea views are always on tap, no matter whether you're swimming in the infinity pool, sipping an aperitif on the shady terraces, or waking to another beautiful sunrise.
Inside: accommodation at Paschalia is spread over two floors.
The main entrance leads into a hallway, off which the property’s accommodation flows. One is greeted by a sensation of serenity, luminosity and minimalist order, thanks to the scrupulously white walls, the sandy-tiled floors, and the meticulous finish, all features that extend harmoniously throughout the house. A floor-to-ceiling picture window tempts guests with their first tantalising views out to sea, and a splash of vivacity is provided by the first of a series of photos from the Gods in Color exhibition at the Liebighaus Museum in Frankfurt.
Turning left, one enters an airy open-concept space with an L-shaped corner sofa to one side and a dining area to the other. This latter is served by a well-equipped, white contemporary kitchen with breakfast bar. Grey-framed picture windows drink in the sea views and sliding glass doors provide seamless access to shady sea-view terraces and the pool area. A guest WC is handily positioned near the exit to the pool area
Back in the entrance hall, a door leads into the main bedroom, a spacious double with a sumptuous, partially glazed, marble-clad en-suite shower room. Sliding glass doors open out onto a private, cantilevered sea-view terrace.
The remaining accommodation at Paschalia is on the lower ground floor, which is accessed via a staircase in the entrance hall. Here there are three bedrooms:
• a large double with dressing area, and en-suite shower room
• a double-twin with en-suite shower room
• a second double with en-suite shower room
These bedrooms boast fabulous sea views and access via sliding glass doors to a panoramic terrace.
Outside: the open-plan communal space on the ground floor flows out onto a pair of well-furnished sea-view terraces to the front and to the pool area to one side. The irresistible pool features a long infinity edge, allowing those who are swimming, or simply cooling off, to enjoy the hypnotic views. With plenty of space for sunbathing, not to mention a shaded pergola for al fresco dining , a comfortably furnished sitting area, and a well-equipped outdoor kitchen decorated with blue and white Spanish tiles designed by Antoni Gaudí, you may well find that you spend most of your waking hours in this delightful spot.
Elsewhere, the main bedroom on the ground floor has its own private sea-view terrace and three of the bedrooms on the lower ground floor open out onto a panoramic terrace running along the entire façade of the house. Beyond the terraces, which are enlivened by colourful flowers and Mediterranean greenery, the property's grounds are planted with a whispering olive grove and a variety of cypress, pear, orange, lemon, pomegranate and lilac trees, all of which guarantee a sensation of privacy and seclusion.
Paschalia features a fantastic infinity pool, offering swimmers stunning views while in the pool. There is a drop off the infinity side so we recommend children are supervised at all times. Please refer to our general safety page if you would like more information about infinity pools.
Due to the nature of the property including terraces low walls and several drops around the grounds, children must be supervised at all times.
