As you follow the narrow, winding roads up to Luxury Villa Nefeli, the intimate landscape of cypress trees, shady olive groves and old stone terraces completely fail to prepare you for the scale and grandeur of the view from this spacious villa.



Nature at its most ethereal expression is laid out before you – and with the dramatic luscious green hillside, looking out over the coastline and crystal-clear waters of the deep blue Ionian sea featuring uninterrupted sunsets ahead, a cooling dip in the infinity pool feels like a swim on the edge of the world.

Luxury Villa Nefeli is located above the acclaimed beaches of Yaliskari and Kontogialos, hidden in lush cypress trees with endless sea views of the Ionian Sea on the central west coast of Corfu island.



• 10 minutes drive to lovely sandy beach of Kontogialos/Pelekas (blue flag), with several bars, tavernas and organised facilities.

• 12 minutes drive to the lovely hidden cove and sandy beach of Yialiskari (blue flag), with a small family taverna and some partially organised facilities.

• 12 minutes drive to acclaimed 18 hole Corfu Golf Club.

• 12 minutes to Agios Gordios beach (blue flag), for watersports, tavernas and bars and numerous hidden beach coves.

• 16 minutes to the famous Theotoki Estate, which produces high quality local wines and excellent olive oil (all organic).

• 17 minutes drive to Glyfada sandy (blue flag) beach, for watersports, tavernas and bars.

• 23 minutes drive to the UNESCO old Corfu town, for shopping, tavernas, bars, sightseeing.

• 25 minutes drive to Gouvia Marina, for charter yacht hire, tavernas and bars.



Transport:

• Fly to Corfu airport, the Villa is a 20 minute drive away.

Local Information:

• The Villa sits up high on the edge of a cypress filled mountain overlooking the Ionian Sea and the pristine blue flag beaches of Gialiskari and Kondogialos/Pelekas. Within a 5 minute drive, arrive at the lovely hilltop villages of Sinarades or Pelekas. Traditional villages with character and grace, filled with lovely tavernas, local coffee shops, grocery and other small quant local stores. Both villages are convenient options for your everyday shopping, dinning, or some strolling after a long day in the sun.



• The closest beach is a 10 minute drive along the west coast. Kontogialos/Pelekas beach is one of the best blue flag sandy beach coves preferred by those in the 'know', filled with all the facilities and amenities for a perfect day in the sun.



• For your dinning, there are multiple family owned restaurants/tavernas as close as 5 minutes by car from the Villa, boasting excellent quality food with some even having music at the weekends/evenings, great for both family and couples or gathering of friends!



• There is a wonderful walking path neighbouring the Villa which is located on the Corfu Trail, a 220km walking trail along the length of the island. It’s possible to join the trail from the Villa vicinity on foot and explore some interesting foot paths up and down the island. For the cycling and mountain bike enthusiast, within the vicinity one can equally find endless options.



• Sailing companies can be found at Gouvia Marina, where it is possbile to charter a boat and sail up to Agni bay for lunch or down to the majestic Paxos island or even across the Corfu Channel to Parga or Sivota.



• For the golf enthusiasts, the island's only 18 hole golf course is a mere 12 minute drive.



• For children and the waterpark enthusiasts, the 51 slide Aqualand is a 12 minute drive away.



• Visit the Silvaland Riding Center only 17 minutes away by car. Riding lessons for all ages available or enjoy relaxing in their local cafe or make use of the nearby local walking tracks in this beautiful part of Corfu.



• There is a donkey sanctuary in Doukades (23 minutes drive) - they welcome visitors, just remember to take carrots and apples!



• Corfu Town (23 minutes drive) is easily one of Greece’s most elegant towns and a fantastically lively example of Venetian architecture, with narrow streets, museums, galleries, great shops and even a cricket pitch! The Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage site and it is so proud of its history, a visit here would be well worth it - the best parts can only be accessed on foot, so consider a walking tour in the evening.



• From Corfu Town Port you can catch a ferry or sea taxi to Parga or Sivota across on mainland. Or to Paxos island south, or even to the wonderful Roman port ruins of Butrint in Albania. There are fast hydrofoils to each of these destinations. All great options for day trips!
