It is a lovely resort, but the steep climbs up and down to the beach start to grind, after a while. The sun doesn't really clear the nearby cliffs until about 11.30am, which is a bit annoying. The local village is lovely and there are some nice restaurants there. The food at the hotel is OK, but not brilliant. Otherwise, very friemdly staff and everything is nice and clean.

Amazing hotel - drinks were better then most resorts and the full stay was truly all inclusive. I wasn’t super excited about the service or some of the meals but given the price I thought it was still 5 star worthy. I would recommend and be back again.

The facilities were great, the main buffet had amazing variety - we stayed for 5 days and didn't see the same main meals twice. There were also numerous options every night catering for different tastes. The pools were good, but getting a decent bed needed an early rise to secure it. Overall an amazing few days and would definitely recommend for some proper R&R.

My stay at Ella Alkyna was lovely. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The food! Every restaurant the food was excellent. My favorite was Satoumi. You can tell that Ella really took their time putting together restaurants/menus/chefs because the restaurants did not disappoint. All of the wait staff really made sure that you were comfortable and were taken care of. I think my only qualm is the hills, it was a steep hill to get to the beach/steep hill to get back to the main reception building but thankfully I’d you call reception they will send a golf cart to get you. I do think aside from the boat excursions they should also mention that there is a bus that picks you up from the hotel and will take you into town, had I known I would have loved to explore the town. Lovely peaceful trip I will say.

Great hotel 10/10. Super clean and comfortable rooms. Staff is friendly and kind. Special thank you to Mani, the supervisor, for her care and kindness. Buffets were simply incredible - huge variety, delicious food - best buffet food we have ever experienced.  Beautiful views from the hotel of the ocean and nice beach too. Highly recommend.
