「We often stay at The Red Lion. The staff are friendly and helpful . The rooms are always clean and the beds comfy . Breakfast is delicious with a lot of choice. It’s good to have the option of having lunch or the evening meal at the hotel. 」

「My friend and I had a lovely stay here last night. We arrived in the afternoon and were warmly welcomed by Karen. We were really well looked after by Karen and her team and nothing was too much trouble. Our twin room was lovely and the beds really comfortable with lovely touches in the bathroom in case we had forgotten anything. Our food in the restaurant was delicious … the best steak I have had in a while and my friend said her burger was amazing. A real gem of a place at Rutland and we will...

「I would like to point out that this property is not in Grantham but in South Witham, Grantham. This makes a great deal of difference and took us much longer to find and right out of our way. I suggest you correct this. The address given by you takes you to different part of the area and is confusing. So please correct it and add South Witham to the full address. 」

「Have stayed a few times over the years, the room was nice, but could do with a make over, and the shower needs something doing with it, it isn't a walk in shower, more like a climb in. Food in the restaurant was delicious, even though there wasn't a big choice, it was all delicious, the chef even made fresh apple sauce for one of the party. Hopefully next time we stay, we will see a difference min the room 」

「A nice family stay, quiet village pub. The host was very helpful including recommending an evening meal in the next village which was great (fighting cocks pub). It seems the venue has stopped doing food, but having said that she still provided us with a perfectly good breakfast. The room was clean, a nice little street village view, we all slept well. Great for country walking, a family visit and somewhere quieter in a local pub.」
