"We passed through on our way north and liked the convenience of the chalet we were in. It was clean and comfortable with a kitchenette and there is a supermarket a few hundred metres away. The beach is nice with a jetty and a beach side cafe."

"Cute little cottage full of charm, character and history. We stayed at The Hermitage as a quick stopover in Geraldton and really enjoyed the unique atmosphere. It’s a lovely change from a standard hotel room and feels like stepping back in time while still being comfortable and welcoming.If you’re planning a stay, be sure to bring along some games, books, or other entertainment. There’s no TV, which actually suits the style and character of the accommodation and encourages you to slow down and enjoy the experience.A great option for anyone looking for something a little different, with plenty of personality and a touch of local history. We'd happily stay again."

"It is such a good hostel, sound travelled throughout from the corridor, shared bathrooms. But the best location, cleanest shared bathroom, rooms, bedsheets felt clean, bedding comfortable, free parking. Its the best hostel I have ever stayed in all over the world. Well done, team! :)"

"Stayed here on a business trip and would come back for a leisure trip as well. The room was large and comfortable. Staff were helpful and polite. Didn’t use the pool area but this looks good too. Convenient for getting into Geraldton and has plenty of parking."
