「This was my first solo venture following my husband's unexpected death and I chose Jim Thorpe because we've visited together in the past and I knew I would feel comfortable both in the town and in the property. 「overall, my Family enjoyed the stay. the outside of the house does need a little work. stairs and deck area is dated. Sliding doors kept getting stuck. this didn't affect our stay. we just went out the other door. overall the house was clean and spacious. 「Cute house! Game room in basement was great! The beach and boats in neighborhood community center looked like fun but unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. The House was clean and comfortable. Beds and pillows not the most comfortable but that’s the only complaint we had. Lots of hiking nearby. We visited the town of Jim Thorpe which was too cute. 「We attended a concert at Wind Creek, and decided it would be nice to stay at the hotel, and not have to worry about the drive home, traffic, etc. The hotel was very nice, everything seemed brand new. It was very convenient to walk from our room to the concert, although th ewwit in line was longer than we’d have liked. We thought we’d be able to have dinner at the complex, but couldn’t get reservations. These should be arranged much earlier. There were good options in town, however.」
