This house is nestled on top of a hill, secluded in a 360 of trees. It was beautiful, well kept and so peaceful! We came for the Cooperstown 12u baseball tournament. We shared the house with another family and it was perfect! We arrived the night before actual check in at Dreams Park so our two older boys only stayed a night with us but the basement downstairs with bunk beds was perfect for them with the A/C unit and their own tv room! They loved the outdoor firepit, playing wiffle ball in the huge, grassy front yard and exploring around the house in the woods. A boy’s dream! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything that we needed. We spent most days cooking our own meals rather than going out to eat. Having a washer and dryer in the house was a godsend, especially with a toddler and two dirty baseball boys. We were 8 min from Dreams Park so regardless of their game times, it was so quick and convenient to get over there. Walmart was about 30 min away, but there was a smaller grocery store less than 10 min away for convenience. Steve was one of the most helpful and attentive owners that I’ve ever dealt with and we would definitely come back!! We only had time for baseball, the Hall of the Fame and walking around Cooperstown a bit but we wish we could’ve explored more and stayed longer. Whether you’re coming for the baseball tournament or just to visit Cooperstown, I highly recommend this home!
We had a great time with family and friends. Steve is super responsive and is a perfect host.
We did have a minor hiccup with a water leak because of the heavy rain, but that did not stopped us to enjoy our stay.
All the necessities were provided (cookware, linens) and we had a lot of room to shelve our things. We really enjoyed Christmas and New Year's Eve in the big living room while the snow was falling. Highly recommended for families.
This location and property manager are top notch. My family was supposed to all come but due to scheduling conflict it was only my son and I. He went for Cooperstown DreamsPark so I stayed at the cabin by myself and it was just what I needed. It was so relaxing and quiet. The property manager was very helpful and easy to reach if there were issues. Location is close to multiple breweries and DreamsPark. Would definitely book this cabin a second time if in the area again.
We were in town for Cooperstown Dream Park. The house was perfect. 10 min from the park, and a good place to land between games and after the excitement of the day. Large deck for hanging out, really nice gas grill and simple but quality cooking equipment in the kitchen (approved by a family of chefs). No TV service but an ample supply of DVDs if you really want to plop in front of the TV. CD and radio BOSE stereo (we had a dance party). Our teen boys enjoyed the basement living quarters and grandpa snuck off to the downstairs living room couch for quiet reading time. Steve was quick to respond to any questions and issues. Appreciated his attentiveness. Things to note: tub only in the upstairs shower. If the dehumidifier is not on in the basement when you arrive, turn it on for a more comfortable stay.
We were in town for our son’s week of baseball at Cooperstown Dreams Park. The location of the house was excellent. convenient, quiet, and relaxing! The house was beautiful, clean and well supplied. The owner was responsive and helpful in every regard. We highly recommend this house and hope to visit again ourselves one day.
Just a fantastic spot for anyone looking to get away. We were there for our boys Cooperstown baseball experience. Close enough to the park to be convenient and far enough away to enjoy sites and sounds of nature. Very seldom do I genuinely miss leaving a spot to head home, but our friends and us could’ve stayed a month and been just fine. Truly a gem if you get that chance to stay.
We love staying here for the week. Our sin played at All Star village and it was a great location. Beautiful property and the owner was more then accommodating! We highly recommend this Beautiful home to anyone!
