「We went during winter and weren't aware that there was no internal heating, we booked the basic site. Do yourself a favour and upgrade. Location is good and it's a good way to experience the Coonawarra as there are limited accommodation options available, despite it being a fantastic place to explore 」

「While this was a comfortable place to stay, because of what it was - an old gaol - it wouldn’t be for everyone. We slept in a cell which was well heated and had a comfortable bed, a toilet and hand basin. We enjoyed our stay, but don’t go there if you’re looking for luxury.」
