「The staff was amazing. This hotel is in DIRE need of some love. Rooms are old and falling apart. I booked a room “with a fridge” only to arrive and find my room did not have one. I had medication that needs refrigeration . I was switched to a new room, but it smelled so bad I couldn’t stay. Moved back to original room and just used ice overnight to keep my medication cold. If I wasn’t in the middle of a 2000 mile trip and exhausted, I would have found a new room. 」

Room was clean but needed TLC , the floors were nice with vinyl hardwood so that was a plus( I don’t like carpet in hotels!), most areas were in process of some type of either demolition or construction ( really couldn’t tell) it was non smoking but smelled of smoke in the halls, which wafted into our room. 「We were looking for a quiet location, close enough to civilization, yet far enough away from the noise. This is it. An enjoyable Friday through Monday stay. 「We arrived for a 2 day bike trip on the Allegheny Trail. Unfortunately, the weather chose not to cooperate. The house was so clean and would be perfect for anyone who wants to bike the trail.We left a day early because the severe rain, there was no chance of biking. We are hoping to be back to bike in the near future.」

Also, since it was somewhat cold and rainy we could not really enjoy watching tv because it is not set up to enjoy programming we wanted and very difficult to understand even how to work the tv!」
