"Our stay was very comfortable. The heat banks in each room and the air conditioner upstairs were perfect to keep the house warm. Very welcomed after a day out in the freezing weather.The property is so convenient to everything Evandale has to offer; shopping, Sunday markets, cafes and pubs.The main bedroom downstairs is very spacious with a large ensuite (there isn't a picture of this on the website). The ensuite upstairs is compact however workable. As stated in the property information, the original staircase is very steep. In saying that we were two ladies over 60 and 70 and we managed however, I did leave my suitcase down stairs and brought up the items I required for our stay.The only heating for the downstairs living room is the wood fire which, of course, takes time to heat up the room. The addition of an electric heater would allow the room to heat up for those who aren't confident with a wood fore or require instant heat."
