"A lovely quiet place perfect for a night away. Clean and comfortable. Great host, always there to help out. Just be aware that the hot tub is a paid extra, something that is not mentioned but that is not the hosts fault. They are unsure why that information is missing from the listing. Hotels.com were useless at trying to sort that out. But don't hesitate to book this place, just maybe drop them a message about using the hot tub first. "Check-in went smoothly even though I arrived earlier than the scheduled check-in time after a long drive. The staff were very helpful and considerate. The room was clean, dinner was nice and the breakfast too."

"Having booked a four person room, I was very surprised on arrival to find that out accommodation was actually a two floor cottage with a kitchen. Very comfortable and spacious. Two televisions. One separate double bedroom on first floor. All lovely. Breakfast was excellent and not a buffet but plentiful. Overall highly recommended. Staff were all very pleasant also. If you are lucky you can park right outside your cottage otherwise there is a carpark very near."

"We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were lovely, friendly, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is beautiful, with a peaceful setting and a stunning garden that's clearly well cared for. Everything was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway and would happily stay here again."

"A lovely location and great facilities. Great staff and bar area had a lovely atmosphere. Morning breakfast was delicious with attentive staff. Rooms were very quiet, hotel had a lift which is very convent as the steps are steep to the 2nd floor. The rooms are a little tired and the bathroom window privacy screening is in desperate need of replacement. Kettle is completely scaled up and cups were also dirty so this needs to be addressed. Ok Value if the above were dealt with then it would be good value. I would stay here again even so as the bed was very comfortable and overall had a lovely stay."

"The White Horse Inn is a gem! We were allocated one of the "shepherd huts" which is designed to look a bit like a gypsy caravan. It's somewhat compact, but has all the modern features one requires. Special mention must be made of the air conditioning -- it was mid-summer when we stayed and the outside temperature was in the high 30s. We slept soundly in the cool cabin. The full English breakfast was comprehensive and delicious. We would gladly stay there again if we're in the area."
