"We loved the cabin. The accommodations were perfect for our adult children, my wife and myself. Gary was very up-front with any minor inconveniences, which were really nothing at all - honestly, they were no bother whatsoever. The cabin was located high enough and far enough above and away from everything to see what we came for: the starry night sky with a bonfire and the sound of crickets and peepers. We really couldn't ask for any more. With that in mind, we were ASKED to make suggestions, and since my wife and I have been spoiled rotten with some cabins up in the Adirondacks which have been around for decades, I thought we would offer some suggestions for what to put in the empty drawers and cabinets. My wife suggested that a couple baking sheets, for things like frozen french fries or whatever, just in case other plans fall through. I noticed that the grill scrubber was pretty much worn out, so I grabbed an inexpensive grill scouring pad and left it there. We also left a roll of inexpensive aluminum foil. Otherwise, the cabin kitchen was pretty well equipped! One final note for anyone with sensitive skin: if you already have issues with this I'm sure you probably come prepared yourself, but just keep in mind that the linens were very clean - but scented with a dryer booster of some kind, I think. Not an issue for most but as I have had issues I thought I would mention it for future guests. But it was a great stay and we enjoyed it a lot. But man, what a dusty road!"
