Best value hotel in the immediate Bay Area. Rooms are CLEAN and you can't get better value for the money. Safe, well maintained, and friendly staff. AC blows cold. And you're so close to all east bay cities / Marin / SF. Definitely worth staying here if you are looking for a lower cost option.

Like location, staff, size of the room, TV, fridge and microwave, comfortable mattress Dislike: AC unit was very old and the smell was terrible.- I could not turn it on. The smell of the room and around the motel was unpleasant. The blankets and sheets were not as clean as I expected. The box spring had an old fabric around that does not look nice or clean.

I booked this place on the cheap. It wasn’t as bad as a lot of the negative reviews made it out. Cleaner and quieter than I expected. Breakfast was standard, and staff did their job. Folks- you get what you pay for. This was a cheap one night option for me, passing through. I wouldn’t want my wife staying here alone, but the overall experience wasn’t crazy. Richmond is a pretty funky place, so expect a funky vibe. If you’re used to other BW hotels, this isn’t it! Cost is half, amenities are half rate, but ghetto is double. I wouldn’t book again, but I wouldn’t dissuade anyone from booking for a cheap night passing through.

Excellent customer service by Estefany at front desk and Leticia at the breakfast buffet. I thank you both for making my stay so comfortable. I will be back and I do recommend this hotel. The rooms are clean, big counters, nice hot showers.

The room was fine, clean and comfortable. Room service was available but was irregular. Staff friendly and helpful. A laundry room was available but the reception didn't have quarters so it couldn't be used. Breakfast was very good even if it became a bit boring after 3 weeks. Parking was excellent.

When I think of point Richmond, I imagined a really nice and fancy area. This is not it. This hotel is located right next to an I580 on ramp and railroad tracks. The hotel provides ear plugs for your “comfort “. The first night I stayed there were a bunch of hooligans burning rubber in the parking lot. The only thing that saves this hotel is the full breakfast they provide. It’s actually pretty good and the coffee is good too. The staff is nice.

Room was clean and beds were comfortable, looked newly remodeled. There were some blinking lights outside and train noise. The blinds were pretty good at blocking most light and they provided ear plugs for noise.

Overall a great stay, easy check-in, clean room/bed/shower, T.V/microwave & mini fridge all were in working order. There is also a free breakfast with some limited offerings, but free is free and not many places offer this type of perk anymore, so it is nice to have as an option. My only warning to others is that it is right off of the highway, so it is very loud, but I knew that when booking so I can't complain. The room had ear plugs to help with that issue, so its not the hotels fault but did want to warn anyone who may not be familiar with the area or is sensitive to loud sounds. Other than that, a great stay for a really affordable rate for the area. I will definetly be staying here again.
