"We stayed at Malachite as 2 families and had an amazing long weekend, we all loved the hot tub and the peace and quiet of the property, waking up to the lake views was wonderful!The house was extremely clean and the layout is very family friendly (enough space for a game of twister!), the children also really enjoyed the "open up" wall between the bedrooms they used.The kitchen had everything that we needed we plenty of space to get everyone involved in meal preparation. The open space downstairs with the decked area was brilliantly laid out.Despite the October weather we even managed to have lots of fun making use of the kayak on the lake and then warmed ourselves up in the hot tub.The one small comment was that it was strange that the main bedroom doesn't have a door separating the bedroom from the bathroom.It was a lovely weekend, with Malachite making a great base from which we could explore the Cotswolds."
