「This is the third time we've stayed at this charming cabin with our dog. The location is great, a walk to Chimney Rock and a short drive to Asheville. The stone steps would not be good for someone unsure of their footing. The cabin is well laid out so it feels roomy and always spotlessly clean. There are two ample screened porches, front and back, so pup has a lot of room to roam around. Definitely recommend.」

「We had a wonderful stay at this whimsical little getaway! It was very cute and well stocked. Our kids really loved the little rock slide in the creek, the hot tub, and the place had great toys and books out for our use. Chimney Rock and Lake Lure are less than 15 minutes away! Our only complaint was it wasn’t quite as clean as we’d hoped. 「Very nice stay! We enjoyed the privacy of the cabin with proximity to Lake Lure. The cabin was perfect for our 3 generations: main floor BR for 89-yr old, plus 32-yr old w/ 2 dogs, and 68-yr old middle. Varying needs and all met! One cautionary comment, and the reason for my one 4 star rating (accuracy of listing) - the fenced dog yard is secure and big, but it's very steep (not apparent in the pic), both the yard itself and the access steps. The cabin is very close to Hwy 64 which makes getting around easy but in exchange there is quite a bit of traffic noise. 「The house is amazing. The view is beautiful. We spent most of our time relaxing, but there are plenty of things to do. The playroom was such an amazing plus and the game room is really nice. The bedrooms are great. We found the Palmetto State Trail and had a nice hike. The house is close enough to the beautiful town of Hendersonville. We took a day trip to Biltmore. The town of Saluda is a great little mountain town to spend some time in. Highly recommend Greenriver BBQ.」

「Everything was accurate to the listing. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, the furniture was nice. One thing I'd recommend people looking to come here are aware of, is that the house is not easily accessible by sedans or small cars. 「The inside of the property was great. Was very disappointed that both decks and the front entryway had obviously not been cleaned for sometime. Cobwebs, dust, and leaves made all of these areas very unattractive. 「Very clean, cute and cozy. Easy check-in and checkout. Easy to access any information needed. Mountain road getting to the cabin has multiple switch backs so take your time. Enjoyed having close access to the lake as well as the kayaks. Hot tub is lovely on the back deck. Only small annoyance was there was construction going on next door, some of the trucks going by sounded like tanks. Otherwise, wonderful place….would definitely stay again and highly recommend to others.」
