"My family and I spent Thanksgiving with the cousin nearby and we needed overflow lodging. This place was beyond our expectations. It truly was a luxury experience and everyone had their own bed and bath and privacy and lots of space and lots of gathering time. "Great stay in Troy. Easy to get in and the rooms/beds were very good. Did not realize there were two locations on the same property/house. It was ok, because there were not other tenants but it would have been weird. May consider an option to separate the rental better?"

Peaceful Country Setting Close to Restaurants

"We stayed three nights for a wine-tasting getaway and a trip to Monticello. Everything is close by, the wineries and Monticello. The lovely little town of Scotsville has wonderful restaurants and a terrific coffeeshop/bakery with muffins, scones and delicious quiche. The farm is wonderful with dogs and cattle and a firepit! The living room is quite comfortable for late night chats and the kitchen is fully functional! What a nice time! The hosts are terrific and friendly and willing to help steer us in the right direction!"

Luxury, Secluded Treehouse on the Rivanna River

Two nights at the treehouse

"Stayed two nights while attending weddings in the area. A very unique and enjoyable stay. The trail down to the treehouse results in a quiet and secluded space - surrounded by forest and the sounds of birds. As mentioned in the listing, the path from the parking to the treehouse is a somewhat steep wooded trail, and there is a ladder up to the loft bedroom - so this would not be great for those with mobility issues. But for us, these things enhanced our stay, and we would definitely return. The hot tub beneath the treehouse was also really great."
