You'll be in Old Colorado City, one of the most walkable and character-filled parts of Colorado Springs.

You'll also just be a short drive to Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, Pikes Peak, Cave of the Winds, and Downtown Colorado Springs.
Getting Around:
This is a great location and one of the easiest in Colorado Springs to get around from.
You’re just a couple blocks from Colorado Avenue in Old Colorado City, where you’ll find restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and local stores all within walking distance. It’s an easy, enjoyable walk whether you’re heading out for breakfast, an afternoon coffee, or dinner.
If you want to explore further, you’re 5–10 minutes from Manitou Springs and downtown Colorado Springs, and close to major attractions like Garden of the Gods, Red Rock Canyon, and the base of Pikes Peak.
There are bus stops nearby along Colorado Avenue and plenty of ride-share options, but most guests find having a car makes it easier to explore everything the area has to offer.
Other Things to Note:
• The home is set on a hill. If you park in the designated spots behind the house, you’ll take a short set of terraced steps up to the home. There are also stairs inside between levels. If you prefer to avoid the exterior steps, street parking is available out front.
• The street out front is fairly steep. During snow or icy conditions, you may find it easier to use the rear parking spaces.
• Central AC is upstairs only. The lower level (basement bedroom) stays naturally cool most of the year
• The home feels private, but it is in a residential neighborhood with nearby homes. Please be respectful of neighbors, especially during quiet hours.
• WiFi is strong and reliable, and cell service is typically solid.
• We set out linens based on the number of guests on your reservation, so please make sure your guest count is accurate prior to arrival.
• Check-in is at 5pm and check-out is at 10am. We can sometimes accommodate early check-in or late check-out depending on our housekeepers' schedule.
• Dogs allowed. Two dog max. Pet fee(s) apply.
Interaction with Guests:
We live nearby and are happy to help if you need anything or want recommendations, but otherwise we give guests space to enjoy their stay.
