From the time we booked util we checked out the process went smooth and easy. We brought our two dogs with us and they loved the home. The backyard is huge and gave them plenty of room to run around and have fun. There are water and food bowls strategically placed inside and out. The home was very neat and clean and we felt it was in a very safe area. The mattresses were super comfortable and it was nice to have control over the AC (we like to sleep with it extra cool). They thought of everything. There isn't one thing in the home where we thought, "oh, wish they had that." The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. We grilled outside and cooked inside several times. There is a dishwasher with soap. The bathroom has plenty of towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner. There is a washing machine with laundry detergent, if needed.
We asked the hosts for restaurant and sightseeing suggestions and they sure delivered. They provided us with so many great options with details on each one and links to the websites. We took their suggestion and brought our dogs to eat on the patio Monse's Taste of El Salvador and wow, it was delicious. The Pupusas were amazing and a specialty. They are maybe similar to a funnel cake filled with cheese and veggies (of choice) and topped with anything you want (fajita meat was great). Ask how long the wait is when you get there. It was an hour for us from arrival time to the time the food was delivered. It was 100% worth it for sure but if you're in a hurry, it might not be the best option. We also went white water rafting with the Royal Gorge Rafting and Zip line Tours and that was the highlight of the trip. We spent a couple days hiking at the Garden of the Gods, seven falls and seven bridges - another home run tip by the hosts. :)
If you find this place open, then book it fast. They usually don't have any openings. Have fun! :)
